I used to be real good, ten yrs ago in my early twenties...........but over the last few I have been reduced to a guy who is happy breaking 80. It is no fun for me, not being able to play like I used too. I have a busy job and other interests.........Walking the course today I was one over par after 8 holes but I kept telling myself that golf is just no fun anymore. I don't know if Im going through a phase or what, I recently joined a competitive softball league and Im having more fun than I do on the course.

Golf is so time consuming and I dont have the time to practice.............scary thing is my short game is still really good but my iron game is what struggles. i still show flashes of the old me once in a while which gets me excited but it's only a matter of time until I chunk a lob wedge from 80 yrds out and want to snap the club over my leg..............Bad attitude I know. In a way I want to get back into paying tourney golf because that is the only way I will improve but do I want to go through all that again, Im not really sure.

I fell embarrased playing with people who knew how good I was and they see me struggling to break 80. I think im suffering from low golf self esteem. I knifed a sandwege over the green from 110 today and wanted to walk off the course.......

hey buddy hang in there by the way where can i find a tourney that i can play in for money is there a website for that can you help me find out i am from north carolina not a real good golfer i play about a ten handicap thanks
