*** 3 STAR PLAYS *** Texas Tech -15 over Iowa St Iowa State doesn’t have enough fire power under the hood to keep up in this one. When Texas Tech plays at home you better be able to score almost everytime you get the ball. I don’t think Iowa State can do that. Tech a solid (3-1) ATS, and I look for them to run it up on Cyclones. TCU -25 over Kansas This is more of a huge fade on Kansas. Kansas is pathetic and is already looking forward to Midnight Madness. TCU coming off a tough loss to OU, should come back focused and ready to take out some frustration on this poor excuse for a football team. -24 should be more like a halftime line. Kansas (0-3) ATS this year and it will show on Saturday. Maryland –5.5 over Virginia How can you play this Maryland team Grinder after the performance they had on Saturday?? It’s called pride boys and girls! Maryland just got demolished and embarrassed on Saturday vs. FSU, and they will be looking for someone to take it out on! Virginia the perfect victim! Virginia has only covered once this year, and it was against a BYU team that had flew all the way across the country. Maryland wins this game by 2+ TD’s and gets back some of the respect they lost in Tallahassee on Saturday. * 1 STAR PLAYS * Baylor OVER Whatever the total Grinder says, this team had 600 yards at the half!!! If I ever made a total a 5-star play this would be one of them. We just don’t make totals more than a 1-star play. This is one of the best offense’s I’ve ever seen. Oregon OVER Whatever the total Can’t lay that many points against a good Washington team, but I can bet on the OVER. Oregon OVER every week. You see the trend guys. Oklahoma -14 over Texas Feel like Texas is in a bad funk, and OU actually has something to play for in this one. Stoops owns Texas in this Rivalry, and think he wins a blowout on Saturday. UMASS -3 over Miami (OH) Just like with betting against Tulsa last week, Grinder fading Miami (OH) this week. Miami (1-4) ATS and they haven’t been close. UMASS a respectable 3-1 ATS, so I’ll take the short number and take the Minutemen! Texas St -7 over UL Monroe Texas St. burned us last week vs. Lafayette, but they get the injured UL-Monroe money sale at home. UL-Monroe (1-4) ATS this season, and they have been some brutal blowouts. Texas St gets back on track this week, and beats Monroe with ease. LSU -7 over Florida No Driskill means No Contest in the Swamp. LSU clicking on all cylinders right now and will destroy a depleted Gators team on Saturday. Grinder rarely plays the high profile games, but this one is too good to pass up. |

Well Shit that was brutal! I’m sure I lost the majority of you after the Iowa Shitfest last week. That’s ok, I’m here to win you back. I have nothing but time. Long season ahead of us. Jumping back in the fire this week with two 5 star plays. Try to talk me out of either of these, I just don’t think you can! I like the card, and hope to get back those 8 units from last week. We here at Memphis Grinder, INC will not ever give you a Game of the Year, or 25 Star play to try to get back our lost units. Just like the user name, it’s all a big Grind. Bare with me, and we will get that money back for you! YTD 6-13 (-8.3 Units) 5 Stars (0-1) 3 Stars (1-2) 1 Star (3-2) ***** 5 STAR PLAY ***** Ball State -14 over Kent St If you followed the Grinder last year, you know one thing, I don’t F*ck around with my MAC plays. They were our bread and butter, and paid bill after bill last season when we went to the well in the MAC. You have a very bad Kent St team coming into this game averaging a whopping 18 PPG. That isn’t gonna cut it against an explosive Ball State team (42 PPG). Ball State is a solid 5-1 both SU & ATS this season. They will bulldoze Kent State on Saturday to get Grinder back on track. Got to earn your trust back, but don’t miss out on this moneymaker. ***** 5 STAR PLAY ***** UCLA -24.5 over California UCLA got a huge win last week on the road at Utah, which us sport degenerates know is not an easy place to pick up a road win. UCLA has covered em’ all this year, and I don’t see the Bruin Hundred Dolla Bill Express stopping this week at home versus the intra-state Rival. Well I can’t just let that be the only reason I give for UCLA, not on a 5-Star selection. Let’s take a look at Cal’s poor excuse for a football team. They haven’t covered a spread all year (0-5) ATS! So we have two gambling streaks on the line, and I’m a firm believer in Believing in the Streak #bits. Gimme the Bruins in a name your score game late on Saturday night! This will be a sweep the leg game on your man. Don’t get soft and sit on your winnings, double up and make him install a payment plan. |

I'm sure these Cover Grinders are enjoying our Cville Posts |

UCF was a lean as well. Memphis played very well vs. ASU a few weeks back. Only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger. Never know what your gonna get from them. UCF has been this year as well. GREAT ATS RECORD!!!

* 1 STAR PLAYS * Illinois +10.5 at Nebraska Grinder not scared to bet against Big Red. This isn’t 1996 anymore people. Illinois has played outstanding all year, with their only set back being to a red-hot Husky team from Washington. Nebraska hasn’t faired well ATS this year either, and Illinois is a little secret up north. They have covered em all this year, and I will ride that horse until she bucks me. Probably don’t win the game, but they give Big Red a scare in Lincoln. Rice +3.5 (buy hook) at Tulsa This is simply a fade against Tulsa. They have not covered all season, and have not been close to the spread in any of them either. I’ll bet against them every week until they prove me wrong. Florida Atlantic +4 at UAB Just a hunch. Florida Atlantic hardly ever wins, but they always find a way to cover (4-1 ATS). Not crazy about this one, but Grinder plays the %’s. Louisville -34.5 (Buy the hook) at Temple They are playing for style point all year long, and this one will not be for the faint at heart. Look for them to name the score in this game, and Louisville isn’t soft and won’t be scared to drop a 60 burger on Temple in this one. Oregon 1H -21 at Colorado Same as above. Oregon shows up to destroy you, and destroy you fast. Bet the 1H in this game and cash your ticket. They are the greatest show around, and will just beast darn you all over the stadium. |

Hear Ye, Hear Ye, your favorite football handicapper is back for the 2013 campaign. We had an impressive Year 1, and look to build on that this football season. Memphis Grinder has been slaving over these first 5 weeks of action, and now feels like he has his hand on the pulse of College Football. Play these selections with ease, and wipe your ass with hundred dollar bills on Saturday night when they conclude. ***** 5 STAR PLAY ***** Iowa -1.5 over Michigan St As you know last year, Memphis Grinder just poured in winner after winner on these 5 Star Plays. This week we start you out with an easy one. It goes at 11AM on Saturday so you can play this game while you light your grills, and start the day on a positive note. Both of these teams roll into this game with only 1 loss. Michigan St’s loss was to a bad Notre Dame team, and Iowa’s was to the MAC Powerhouse N. Illinois. Although Iowa should have won that game, they have covered the rest of their games with ease. Look for them to take it to the Spartans early, and not let up. They have covered 6 of the last 8 games at home against Mich. State, and that trend doesn’t stop on Saturday. EASY MONEY!! *** 3 STAR PLAYS *** NC STATE -9.5 over Wake Forest I could quote stats on this one all day, but the easy one is this: NC State scores a lot of points, and they have covered every game in 2013. However, Grinder isn’t gonna do you like that. Let’s take a look at WF. The only teams they have beat was Presbyterian (The Religion) and Army. Yup, college football powerhouses. They are not going to know what hit them on Saturday. NC State’s only loss of the year was a close one to Clemson. They will score early and often and run their ATS Record to 4-0 on Saturday. South Alabama +3.5 at Troy Big In-State Rivalry game in Alabama this week. Not the Iron Bowl, but this game will draw the attention of at least 5500 Rednecks in Troy this weekend. Troy rolls into this game after 3 straight road losses. They are a pathetic (1-3 ATS) and cannot stop the pass. South Alabama on the other side of the ball loves slinging it around, and score points in bunches. They have covered every game this year, and don’t see it stopping on Saturday. I believe this game comes down to final possession, and the last team with the ball wins. I’ll take the 3.5 points in that situation everytime. Texas State +11 at UL-Lafayette Wow Grinder, your digging deep on this one?? Who gives two shits about this pillow fight? Well the answer is Grinder does. This could be the mis-match of the day. If it wasn’t for it being the opening weekend, this would have been my second 5-Star play. How in the world is UL-Lafayette favored in this game?? They have not covered a game all year, and have got steam rolled by powerhouses Arkansas and K State. If you haven’t been paying attention, neither of those teams are worth a shit anymore. Texas State on the other hand is a perfect (3-0 ATS) and beat a red-hot Wyoming team this past weekend. I know it’s very cliché to say it, but The Wrong team is favored here folks. Take the 10.5 points in this one, and break your fucking bookie on Saturday night! |

Back for Week 12 NCAA Football. Another small winning session last weekend, and if I can’t hit both 5 star plays, then I’ll just revert back to one this week. I felt bad all day laying that many points with Notre Dame, but that was my #2 play on my card all week. Live and Learn. You won’t fool me again Irish. Back to the plays, it’s been seven straight weeks of winning for the MemphisGrinder. I like my card this weekend, and will be playing (2) mid-week games this week which is a rare thing for the Grinder. Good Luck everyone, and appreciate the feedback.

Back for Week 11 NCAA Football. Small winning session last weekend, and look to jump back on their ass in Week 11 with (2) five-star plays. They have been my bread and butter this year, and look to keep rolling with them. Back to the plays, it’s been six straight weeks of winning for the MemphisGrinder. I like my card this weekend, and will reduce the # of 3 star plays until I can get those back on track. Good Luck everyone, and appreciate the feedback.
** 5 Star Play ** Fresno State -3
** 3 Star Play ** Northwestern +11

Utah State -26 Not my favorite game on the board, but here’s one thing I’ve learned. Don’t bet against Utah State this year. They are the only team in America that has covered all their games this year. People are driving new Escalades around Logan, Utah. They are a perfect 9-0 ATS this year. Yup, they have won them all. You ask me, why Grinder isn’t this a larger selection?? Well, Texas State is not a well known power, but they are also 5-2 ATS this season. So we will just ride this out as a 1-star play this week and look for a better spot to make more $ later. Believe in the Streak #BITS NC State -9.5 More of the same from above. NC State is by no means on my favorite teams to bet on. However, Virginia is on the no-fly list. They are the only team in America that is 0’fer against the spread this year. An eye-opening 0-8. So until they can cash a ticket. I will be betting against them. #BITS |

** 3 Star Play ** UL Monroe -10 I have watched UL Lafayette the past two Tuesday nights, and let me tell you one thing about them….They can’t cover the pass. With that being said, You get a UL-Monroe team that likes to throw the ball 50+ times a game. What does that tell me…We have a blowout on our hands. Monroe a solid 6-2 against the number this year, and I don’t see that stopping on Saturday. UL Monroe wins this by 3+ Td’s. ** 3 Star Play ** Florida -16 You talk about a pissed off bunch of Gators. They got man handled at the Cocktail party and will be looking to take it out on someone on Saturday. Mizzou drew the short straw in this one. Gators are a beast at home, and their Defense will be running wild on Mizzou. I look for Mizzou to max out at 10 points. That’s saying that UF won’t score 28….I’m not buying it. UF is 6-2 ATS this year, and Mizzou a terrible 2-5. This trend continues. Gators get back on track. ** 3 Star Play ** Northern Illinois -34 Blowout Alert! Blowout Alert! I have been riding Northern Illinois all season. They are 7-1 ATS this year, and have just been delivering ass kickings to everyone. This week they get the mighty UMASS Minutemen. The same Minutemen that got skull drug against Vandy last week. UMASS averaging 7 points a game the past 3 weeks. That will not cut it. N. Illinois will easily get 50 on UMASS at home in this bloodbath. Ohio St – 27.5 Boy I snoozed on this line. It opened at 24, and has shot up to 27.5. What does that tell me, a lot of folks agree with me on this line. Ohio State bounced back in a big way on Saturday on the road at State College. I see them riding this momentum and burying this bad bad football team early on Saturday. Like I said last week, Illinois has a trend. When they lose the game, they lose it big. I think they will lose, so I have no problem laying this lumber. Buckeyes with ease. UAB +3 There must be an error on this line? Southern Miss is favored?? They should not be favored versus anyone. They have not won a game this year, and have lost the last 2 by 3+ TD’s. UAB is not a great team either, but Southern has given up this year, and I’ll take a UAB team that atleast still has a pulse. Indiana -1.5 Vegas keeps disrespecting Indiana, and over playing their hand on Iowa. That’s fine Vegas, I’ll keep taking your $. Indiana a respectable 5-3 ATS this year, and Iowa keeps losing the alum’s $ at 3-5 ATS. Indiana at home in this tossup, and I’ll take the home team on the short line. |

Back for Week 10 NCAA Football. Not a great week, as we didn’t even win a whole unit this week, but the good thing is we didn’t lose anything either. I felt like a young child in Happy Valley, as I got raped with my Penn State pick. I felt like we were getting a good line, with a banged up Braxton Miller. Turned out he is superman, and Penn State was not kryptonite. Back to the plays, it’s been five straight weeks of winning for the MemphisGrinder. I like my card this weekend, and have backed the # of plays down this week due to not the best looking card. Good Luck everyone, and appreciate the feedback. Week 5 - +7.6 Units Week 6 - +3.1 Units Week 7 - +6 Units Week 8 - +16.2 Units Week 9 - +.6 units ===================== YTD (+33.5 Units) 5 Stars – (6-2) 3 Stars – (10-7) 1 Star – (23-14) ** 5 Star Play ** Fresno State – 34.5 I may have scaled back on the plays, but I encourage you to bury your man on this play. Fresno State comes into this game a salty 8-1 ATS. They know how to cash a winning ticket this season. Hawaii on the other hand is just giving money away. Only covering once this season, and it was by a small margin. Fresno should have this line covered by halftime as the boys from Hawaii are terrible away from the island this year. I retrack that, hell they are terrible on the island. Murder your man on Saturday with this Lock. |

Oregon – 44 I saw all I needed to see Thursday night. This team has so many weapons. They could have beat a good Arizona State team by 100 if they wanted too. They didn’t, but -44 is baby food. We do not give documented plays on 1h’s, but if we did, this could be a bet your baby game! Oregon destroys the worst team in America. Wisconsin -6.5 Wisconsin is starting to get better as the year progresses. They started slow, but not as slow as the Spartans. Michigan State had big dreams of the Rose Bowl this year, and now just hope to see a bowl game. Michigan St. is 2-6 ATS this year, and for that reason, gimme the Badgers at home laying less than a TD. Northwestern -6 Oh Northwestern how you blew one on Saturday. Had a nice ML parlay with you in it that would have cashed at 15:1. I still believe in you, but you have to close out these ballgames. Take out your frustration on a bad Iowa Team. Ole Miss +5.5 I hate the Black Bears worse than anyone, but what I don’t hate is their 6-1 ATS record this season. Hugh Freeze wins all the parties in Oxford, and is obviously cashing some tickets on Bodova.com. This man plays for his alumni. Arkansas bounced back with a win @ Auburn, but what is that really saying? Gimme the Black Bears as they win the game in Arkansas on Saturday. Just to make you feel better, Arky is a pitiful 2-5 ATS this season. Utah State -22 All I need to tell you is that Utah State is 8-0 ATS. No other team in country can claim that. Ride it until it bucks you. Aggies win big at Directional Texas School. UL Monroe -24 Pretty ballsy going into W. Kentucky and going for 2 in the first OT. UL Monroe plays like it’s a playstation game at all times. 4th and 3 on our side of field, we got this play. They get a bunny at home this week in South Alabama. Look for this one to be covered by halftime. Indiana +1 Holy Moly, why are you playing this shit fest? I’ll tell you why. Both teams are a terrible 2-5 this season, but really it’s a tail of two wallets. Indiana is 4-3 ATS and Illinois is 2-5. And boy, some of those Illinois losses have been brutal. Ie, when they lose, they lose bad. I think Indiana is a better team, and for that reason, we have a case of wrong team favored. Thank me later. Akron +6.5 The battle of the shitters of the conference. Remember earlier I claimed my MAC Daddy status. One thing I have learned this season, is that Central Michigan should not lay a TD to anyone in the country. Gimme Akron to keep this close, or win it in the 4th Qtr. Parlay with the over if you feel frisky. |

** 3 Star Play ** Florida -6.5 The World’s largest cocktail party! Man it’s hard to take the favorite in this game. The dog has a history of not only covering but winning this game. However, Georgia’s defense looked like slaw last week against the worst team in the SEC. If they can’t contain random black QB from Kentucky, what is UF going to do against them?? The answer: Anything they want! Florida is for real guys, and I wasn’t a believer until the 2H of the LSU game a few weeks ago. Look for Florida’s Defense to be in UGA’s backfield all night. Your gonna need a cocktail after this one UGA fans. Florida busts out the baby gator bites on UGA in Jacksonville. ** 3 Star Play ** Ball State -5.5 Ball State just keeps doing what they do, and that’s cover football games. Army on the other hand, they like to defend our country. What they don’t like to defend is the goalline. They have gave up over 30 in each of the last 6 of 7 games this year, and it’s not stopping this week. Ball State has a healthy 6-2 ATS record this year, and look for them to put another notch in the belt this week. If they were lining up to fist fight Saturday, I’d be all over Army. However, this is a football game, and the football victor goes to Ball State. ** 3 Star Play ** Northern Illinois -7 Just call me Mac-Daddy, because I own the MAC. Maybe I need another heading on my MAC record this season?? Northern Illinois travels to W. Michigan on Saturday for a game of two teams going in opposite directions. N. Illinois has covered 7 of 8 this year, and not only are they winning football games, but they are cashing tickets. This game will not be close. Please move on it like it’s already been played. Your Welcome. ** 3 Star Play ** Maryland +1 Are you serious? Your making a 4-3 Maryland team a 3-star play on the Road? Indeed I am. Boston College could be one of the top 10 worst teams in the country this year. Not only have they only won 1 game, but they have only covered 1 game as well. Maryland is playing decent football, and look for them to have this one circled as a must-win in able to get to the post-season. Maryland goes all in, and defeats a hapless Boston College team. |

Back for Week 9 NCAA Football. I hope all you joined me last week in slaying your Bookie! He had to back the damn truck up at my house and unload that $. That’s the type of week I’ve been looking for! #PAYME. I apologize for that poor selection of ASU on Thursday night. That was an impulse play, and should have set that game out. That analyst has been reprimanded and is on one week pay suspension. Live and Learn. Back to the plays, it’s been four straight weeks of winning for the MemphisGrinder. My 5-Stars have been on fire, so I hope you are taking advantage of them as well. I feel great about them both again this week, and should get us to the pay window for the 5th consecutive week. Good Luck everyone, and appreciate the feedback. Week 5 - +7.6 Units Week 6 - +3.1 Units Week 7 - +6 Units Week 8 - +16.2 Units ===================== YTD (+32.9 Units) 5 Stars – (5-1) 3 Stars – (8-5) 1 Star – (18-11) ** 5 Star Play ** Penn State +1 Well, the spotlight returns to Happy Valley on Saturday. You have a Penn State ballclub that went into Iowa Saturday night, and just kicked some Ass. Ohio State on the other hand scraped by versus an average Purdue team. The status of Braxton Miller is up in the air. Obviously, I hope he sits it out, but either way will not make a difference in my play. Penn State has been getting that $ all year @ 6-1 ATS, and I think they try to quite the ghosts of Joe Pa Saturday afternoon. Penn State knocks off the unbeaten Buckeyes by 10+ pts. ** 5 Star Play ** Western Kentucky -7 Who would have ever thought that Western Kentucky would be laying points on the road in a football game?? This Guy! I have watched them play a few times this season, and they can straight up play. Flo Intl on the other hand?? Meh! Western Kentucky is 6-1 ATS this season and I look for them to bounce back versus their last second loss to UL-Monroe in a big way. |

Fresno State -15 Fresno State is 6-1 ATS this year, with its only loss being last week on the Blue Turf. We all know the power of the blue turf, so I’m not going to hold that against them too bad. Fresno St. is very explosive and can make the scoreboard change very quickly. Penn State +3 This should be a classic boring Big-Ten football game. I will take the Penn State and the points on the road in this one. They are 5-1 ATS this season, and Iowa is a bit down if you ask me. Texas Tech -2.5 I’m sold on Texas Tech. They handled the high flying powers from WV last week with ease, and look for them to get the intra-state rival this week. TCU is a bit overrated this year in my opinion, and with the QB position up in the air, I will take the #18 Red Raiders to win this one by a TD. New Mexico +11 Air Force burnt us a few weeks ago, and we haven’t forgotten it. New Mexico is 4-2 ATS this year, and is playing good football for a team that no one has heard about. They probably won’t win the game here, but look for a close one. Michigan -10 You know what team this season is not making fans and alumni happy?? It’s the Spartans. A putrid 1-6 ATS this year. Robinson will light up the scoreboard in this contest, and you better believe they won’t take the foot off the gas. Hail to the Victor! #23 Michigan crushes their rivals this weekend. Troy -6.5 Flo. Intl House of Pancakes will be a fade train for the rest of the season until they show me they care to play football versus serve breakfast. Troy is a different football team at home, and I look for them to cover this # easily. Oregon St -10 Oregon State is still not getting any love in the media despite their nice start. They are 5-0 and have beaten a few very solid teams to start the year. I think this line is a little short, and see Oregon State winning by 20+. Kent St -3.5 This is my, “I can’t believe I’m betting on these two teams” game of the week. I will let you guys in on a little secret of mine. Kent State can play some football, as they are 4-1 ATS. Lay the points, and cash your ticket. |
