replied to PUBLIC IS DUMB! in NFL Betting I am thinking that everyone will be on Dallas....especially after all the ESPN "experts" start their lovefest! I don't always bet against the public. I am just saying that I suspect that this is a classic spot where they will be all over Dallas...and that really makes no sense if you know the teams and look at the numbers. created a topic PUBLIC IS DUMB! in NFL Betting It looks like we have another example coming this week. I expect that everyone will be betting the Cowboys hard based on them beating the Eagles 2 weeks in a row. Minnesota is 8-0 at home averaging 32.75 ppg and allowing only 15.5 ppg! The Cowboys just played 2 rivalry games against the Eagles and now go to the Metrodome. This has all the makings of a let-down...especially after 2 physical, high-emotion games. The Viking offensive and defensive line will be physical and will dominate. I only bet big on what I know. My big college bet of the year was AGAINST my Gophers when they played the Illini. I am going with my Vikings big in this one. Definitely my NFL play of the year. Good luck to all of you who don't get swayed by 2 home games against the same opponent! created a topic ****BEDLAM....TAKE THE OVER** in College Football** Being an Sooner fan for most of my life, I have watched this game every year and I follow both these teams. As usual, the defenses will not hold-up today. The talent on the offensive side of the ball is far greater for both teams. Oklahoma State will be more fired-up then usual. This is their chance to stick it to the Sooners on the road...AND they are big underdogs. No respect! A BCS game may be on the line. Robinson will play and he will play well...he wants this game. They haven't won this game in 7 years! The Sooner defense gave up 388 yards through the air to Texas Tech last week. They have some issues. The Sooners will score against the 96th ranked pass defense in the country. I know, I know...next people will comment how Landry Jones sucks. Does he suck at home? How about 18 TDs to only 4 picks and averaging over 300 yards per game at home in his 4 home starts! Not uncommon for a young QB to struggle on the road, but flourish at home.
