Hi Guys, It is time for me to move on from Covers. It has been fun (for the most part), but I simply won't have the time in the future to keep posting or reading threads from all sports here as there are too many things on my agenda in the coming years and this 'surprisingly' takes up alot of my time and attention that could be better used elsewere. Goodluck for everyone in the future, but please don't let your focus on sports take over other aspects of your life like it has for me |

Overall - Reg: +71.92 Units Pre: 3-1 (+1.7 Units) Just to a couple for me this weekend... Multi = Geel Win Over 15.5 X Coll Win X Nth Melb Win x Adel Win = $2.35 (4 Units) Coll 1-39 = $2.30 (2 Units) Why the margin, simply everyone seems to be on Coll at the line so Coll win's but just get over the line by 20-30 points GL everyone this weekend

Read HappyKanes thread and you see why as he is the one who actually sets the lines, not Vegas

Hi Guys, I just got stiffed over firstly by Hawks fucking up and then my old friend Unitab...I only got a half dividend on my two bets regarding the Hawks to win in live betting when IMO I should have simply been refund the money as I didn't win or lose and the draw option wasn't available. Thoughts please as this could be a case for the gambling ombudsman? |

Impressive double post there gman. I'll also pass on tonight game but I may take a bite at the total as per your comments above and take the under. Average total for these sides throughout the year lands at just over 162 with the line set at 161.5 at one book Don't have a take on Carl, not sure how anyone can at the moment and your other two look good but they are popular picks which again always scare me whenever I see some many people on the same side Adel between 1-39 looks like a nice spot as they 'should' win but 'shouldn't' blow away Port considering all the events this week over here |

GL Bolar, not sure what to make of tonight's game. At first look I really like the Hawks but something in my head keeps telling me to take the Saints. Do like the rest, but I think that your Mutli should have Adel instead of Syd at less juice to make for a safer bet IMO

Hi Guys, Don't normally start threads here as my knowledge on NRL is very limited, but I was wondering what people's thoughts were on this game for Sat night because the way I'm seeing this is... - After a second half fade out against the Eels last week the Pather's will place greater prep on this week; - Pather's have struggled down south lately so again greater 'want' to change this pattern; - Melb are losing player's left right and centre which doesn't hold well as the rest of the season continues; - And finally now that the dust has settled regarding their chances of getting their premiership medals back....what do they really have to play for now that State of Origin is over? Thought's please but I'm more than happy to take a side at +2.5 that is looking to finish in the top 2 after falling apart last week and reveresing a few trends from above so again their prep (which I believe is still the most important ingredient to sports success come game day) will be greater this week than on an average week throughout the year. |

Ca't believe how bad the Saints were yesterday, or how good the Pies were....had a bad feeling when watching the Pies come out onto the ground that this was not a good choice at the time! No matter if my selection below wins I'll still have a winning weekend, but trying to make it better after the Saints misjudgement. Freo 1-39 = $2.20 (4 units ) There is a reason why I believe this is a great bet and I'll explain later as I have work to do for clients for the rest of the day |

Adding just a couple more, and sorry for those who actually tail regarding the late notice... Saints 1-39 = $2.25 (3 Units) Hawks -20.5 = $1.91 (2 Units) |

I am a Bombers fan and I haven't picked a line using them in a game (I don't think I have anyway...) for one simple reason, I can't find a spot good enough for them and prob won't in the future while we have the worst coach in the league even though looking back in hindsight that last week against Melb was the best time |

You do amaze me me gman, this is a capper who can't see past his one eyed support. Yes the Cats are not at thier best regarding the overall makeup of their side with comparison to past history on the window of opportunity, and no doubt what so ever that they are a champion side and have proved it over the years as I was just having a conversation with my brother during the week (as he is a Hawks supporter who was at the game on the weekend), and I mentioned that Geelong are doing enough to win tight games... So again, taking a side playing interstate (even though it is Geel) with a four goal head start to the home side after the Cats played an emotional win over arch rival the Hawks where many players had good games, throw in the fact that one of their Brownlow medalist is having an average year IMO, with another one ( and best player in the comp over the 2 years by a streak) isn't happy their at the moment and with the fact that their is a huge chance he will leave at the end of the year, Geel are one extra loss on last year as at this time, have a higher price to win the premiership as at this time then in previous years, Adel flew back at 10.30pm on Sat straight after the Eagles game in WA last week in prep for this week, Crows have a greater incentive at the moment, played the Cats in a similar situation to last year... So again I'm happy with the head start |

BOL miracle Cats could actually lose this one, things are not all that happy down at Kadina Park and they are not travelling as well at this time of the year as in the past. Crows are ready for this one so I'm more than confident that the line is very good value as I see Geel maybe winning this one by about a goal or two... Let's just hope that AB doesn't make it his lock of the week |

Overall - Reg: +59.1 Units Pre: 3-1 (+1.7 Units) Should have layed off the total in last Friday's game, was thinking it was a very silly bet about half hour after I layed it. This is a very good spot this week for me so I'm going fairly heavy.... Crows (+23.5 @ $1.92) Vs Geel = 10 Units () History repeats itself from last year P.S. This line will drop by at least 2 points before game time so If you happy with the above then get on now. |
