It's because Walker is bad. Although, he does have a history of limiting the Marlins...but he's just been terrible this year.

Hotter bats. When I reference "hotter", I mean it in ways that matter more according to the analysis of this game. For example, a team may have a worse winning % in the last few games but be playing better than another team who has the better record.

Note: Advanced stats from Baseball Savant play an important role in my picks.

Starting relatively new here. First off, there are some very good plays today. Likely more than I list...but I'm sticking with my very best.

Pirates @ Rays (7:10 PM) 

- Inning 1, Under .5 Runs @ -134 (2u)

Angle: O/U is already low at 7 and obviously neither offense is potent. Keller has never faced the Rays (advantage) & has limited hard

contact. Springs is a stud, limits hard contact, & retains a good resume against the Pirates batters. Pirates are also bottom 5 in 1st inning runs.

Rockies @ Twins (8:10 PM)

-  Twins, Alt RL -1 @ -121 (2u)

Angle: German Marquez is . He allows a lot of hard contact and barrels. Bundy is in decent form, limits hard contact, and the Twins are a powerhouse of a lineup, at home, which suits the matchup very well. Further, the Rockies bullpen is also  . I just wish Buxton was in and I'd

make this a *large* play but...we'll stay smart. -1 is just to be safe.

Blue Jays @ Brewers (8:10 PM)

- Blue Jays, F5 @ -159 (2u)

Angle: Massive pitching advantage by the better, hotter team. Nothing else to say.

Mariners @ Angels (9:38 PM)

- Angels, ML @ -152 (3u)

Angle: Ty France is out, meaning this Mariners team that almost got no-hit yesterday is facing solid pitching and a hot-hitting lineup

whilst having a trash can on their own mound. Further, the Mariners used up the arms of some good relievers vs. the A's. This is my play of the day.

Reds @ Giants (10:10 PM)

- Inning 2 or 3 (wherever the weak part of the lineup is), Under .5 Runs @ ~ -130 (1u)

Angle: Weak part of the lineup vs. good-great pitching is the simple reasoning here.

I like the matchup for the Suns bigs with Len out. Also, Young is pretty much the only source of O for ATL and he's been complaining about his hammy so if he's not right then I can see the Suns running away with this. We'll see tho
