created a topic MONDAY ON THE RIVER in College Basketball 2-2-1 yesterday....110-84-5 posted overall. all one unit plays. Stanford played like some girls yesterday. They should have blown the Cal team out. Cal was hitting some ridiculous shots. On to today. VILLANOVA +2.......It's hard to argue that Villanova has looked much more like there old selves recently. Huge game for Nova conference wise and I'm still not sold on Marquette away from home. Nova's last two wins were against better teams than Marquette imo. Fatigue is really the only thing that scares me tonight as Nova played their asses off against Uconn the other day while Maruette routed Rutgers. Still, they've only lost two at home this season, they are playing their best ball of the season, game is on ESPN, place should be bumpin. I'll take the Cats. KANSAS ST. -3......14-1 at home. Coming off two away losses. ESPN game. Place will be loud as hell. Best player in College Basketball. 20-8 ats at home last 28 games. SAN DIEGO +12 .......San Diego is an underrated team imo. They are 9-2 in conferene. They went to Kentucky and won earlier this year. They've played Gonzaga tough twice this year. They just won at Santa Clara, which isn't easy. They beat St. Mary's once this year already. I guess people are expecting St. Marys to just shit on them in true revenge fashion since they got beat in San Diego. I'm not buying it. St. Marys is very good, but they just played a very rough game against Kent St. and while I don't see them losing tonight, I think this game will be closer than the spread. If Lawson plays, how much will he play? Will he throw off our rhythm? If he doesn't go, it's still tough imo. Wake is talented and young, so it's hard to predict what that huge win over Duke will do to them. Will this be a letdown game for them, or will they be full of piss and vinegar. WISCONSIN +1 ......If Wisc. wasn't such a good road team I'd feel uncomfortable about this play, but they have proven time and again that they can win in hostile environments. They are the better team on both sides of the ball and a real threat to go deep into the tourney. They should be able to control the tempo. created a topic SUNDAY ON THE RIVER in College Basketball 6-3-1 yesterday.......108-82-4 posted overall.......all one unit plays......on to today PITTSBURG +1........Taking the stout home team with the short line. You gotta get up pretty early in the morning to beat pitt at the house. Pitt gave that game at ND away the other night and I look for them to bounce back today with a strong effort. Louisville is a very good team, but their away conference schedule has been cream puff. Pitt 7-2 ats last 9 home games. Pitt by 5. created a topic SATURDAY ON THE RIVER in College Basketball I took a couple of days off after an atrocious night the other night. I'll update my record later on, but I wanted to ost these two real quick. CINCINNATTI +14......This game should be a grinder and I'll take the point in this one. GTown doesn't typically blow teams out , and with the pace of this game, 14 seems like a lot. Cinci has proven they can hang with the big boys in the big east on more than one occasion this year. UCONN +2 ......Getting some real good value in this one based on the ass kicking Nova just put on WVU. Nova just has no answer for Thabeet and the rest of UConns frontcourt. I like that Nova went into UConn's house and beat them last year, Calhoun doesn't forget shit like that. Huskies will be ready. Several more to come, Tenn/Mem game should be awesome. Ole Miss is in a tailspin and Miss St. is fighting for the conference lead. Defense should win this one for bulldogs. All trends point to State as well. ST.LOUIS -4 ......glad I locked it in before it jumped back up. I know I'm probably a sucker, but I can't help it. I'm high on the bilikens at home and Fordhams win at UMass is giving us some value here I think. I'll probably be kicking myself tonight for playing this one. created a topic St.Louis/Fordham question in College Basketball What is with the reverse line movement here. I really like St. Louis tonight, especially at 4. Rick and bilikens are just a different animal at home and I don't like Fordham on the road. Why is this line dropping almost 2 points. What am I missing here?
