NC1- not too much here man. Took last year off, promised my wife 1 year with no bets after we had my daughter in 2010. I didn't place a single bet and I sure did miss it. Glad to be back man.
GL- but not today. |

Glad to be back to betting on football.
Today I only have 1 game: Tulsa vs. Iowa State - Tulsa should rock Iowa state. Their 8-5 record last year was due to an extremely tough schedule. Not to mention they were learning an entirely new offense under new coach Blankenship. They lost 3 of their first four to some of the best teams in the nation - Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Boise State. They then went on a 7 game tear through the conference only to get pummeled by another strong team in Houston and barely lose to BYU in the bowl game. With a full year of the new system under their belt, I expect Tulsa to turn some heads this season and it begins today. Tulsa - 2.5 |

I was thinking the same about the OSU game today with Tressel giving Prior some stat padding time. I feel better about OSU's D to prevent the back door moose, so that is where my money is going. I still think Michigan covers though.

Every time I open one of your threads all I see are winners. I think I'm gonna just stop bothering to cap the games and just tail. I'd save alot of time too.
You are one excellent capper. |

They dropped salt here in Raleigh yesterday in anticipation of the snow. I picked up a twelve pack and got the hell off the road! Come tomorrow morning the roadside ditches will be scattered with my entire neighborhood's wives SUVs.
I like UNCG 1st half +8 tonight BTW. Good luck getting home. |

There was 6 MPH winds during the patriots game, snow is irrelevant. Wind kills ball movement.
I like it |

Last time they had weather like this in Cleveland was 07 Browns vs. Bills. The line dropped to 30 the morning of the game and then they took it off the board. Final score was 8-0. I cashed on that one and hopefully I will tomorrow as well. The back end of the Browns Stadium is wide open and it is right off the lake. Wind is a major factor in that stadium and if it shows up like the weather is forecast this game will go under.

So one of the biggest storms in years in coming through Cleveland tomorrow night with 30 mph winds gusting to 50, 20 degree gametime teperature, and a 60% chance of snow with 24 hours accumulation prior to gametime. Yet, they still have the line at 33.5??????
Am I missing something? Cleveland will be lucky to put 7 points on the board and the Steelers will be running the ball all day with Hines Ward out and their playoff chances on the line. |

I just got done watching the afternoon games and I can't believe Florida didn't cover, they left 30 points on the field. 3 missed field goals, two dropped TD's, and then Spurier being the puss that he is doesn't use his timeouts when Florida is on the 8 with 1:35 left. Florida covers 9 out of 10 times in that game.
Tonight: No time for write ups Pitt - 5.5 TCU - 19 OK ST. -4.5 |

Nice win with WV last night, hoping I can turn these couple of wins into a serious roll.
21-17-1 CFB on the year Up 6.65 Units on the year. Today: Florida should jump out early on South Carolina today and really never let off the gas. SC has a decent defense, but c'mon it's still Florida. They will not suffer the miscues and mistakes that Bama did They will be out to prove a point after questions with their offense. SC may not score 10 points. Florida - 17 2 units |

Decent Night Up 1.7 Units
You can say I got greedy, but I really did think WVU was going to win the game. They played them tough all night. This one could really have gone either way......overtime should have been a possibility and also Cinci was in line for a cover. So I guess I'm happy with what I got. PigPen- Don't feel sorry man. I won money tonight! |

Does anyone have any real information that he is out? The local WVU reporters all said he was playing yesterday and the Capper Info Injury Report has him listed as probable with no changes in the last 24 hours.

You have a bunch of crap writtten about West VA this and West VA that but nothing about the 9-0 Bearca and then things they do well and nothing about how West VA is 0-2 on the road losing by double digits to teams they are better than (Auburn and South FL) so what do you think happens on the road when they meet a team that is better then they are?
If you hit everything tonight I will be shocked and I will come back to this post and eat shit but I think Cincy wins and Cincy covers and I hate your logic. That's cool I don't expect it to be a popular play. If you would have played college football you would understand that some teams just have a huge mental advantage over other teams. I'm not basing it on last year, I'm basing it on the last four. There are some teams you just can't seem to beat regardless of the records. I have studied these two teams all year, I see this one being close with WV finishing it off with a late TD/ FG. Yes, my units are $100 and I may lose it all tonight. That's why they call it gambling. |
