remember when anonymous vikings were saying to press that one of the reasons favre didn't really want to comeback was that childress was clueless in running an offense? remember when favre would defy a childless call frm the sideline and call an audible, and then favre would be threatened w/ a benching if that happened again? childman should have let brett the warrior be like peyton manning and call his own shit. sure the int's still would have happened but vikes stil would have been better off if brett called the shots.

despite that crappy outing vs the bears i still think the kid has the goods to do good things for the rest of the season as i believe in him. if the o-line could just hang on a sec or 2 longer to give the kid time to throw he can make real nice throws. also it would be nice if miami would run the ball more - give the kid less pressure. no brandon marshall - no big deal. he wasn't exactly doing anything real special this season except for maybe a couple of games where he went off. thigpen will handle raiders. he has a 1-0 record against them and i expect it to be 2-0 after sunday. |

jets should win this game handily. sucky texans run game will be stuffed by jets front 7, and texans wideouts are all banged up. if walter and daniels were to play then they have a shot. revis or cromartie should have aj contained.

big ben came back. is this because they are easing up on their intensity & relying on big ben to pile up pts thru passing? or is that they're scared to tackle ala harrison on browns? mayeb charlie batch should be reinserted as starting qb to right the ship. he only lost to ravens and not by that much.

trade t.o. for moss. that's randy moss, not santana.

this dude has the potential to be a star - like a romo or somewhere along that level. he kinda plays like a white man's version of michael vick. he can run, throw, can make all types of passes, and best of all - he doesn't eat or have his dogs fight in backyards. really would like 2 see this guy start w/ all those weapons around him.

these bums have lost their last 6 games, although to 6 pretty good teams. we all know that bills are pretty bad, but based on the level of parity this year along w/ the the fact that there is some talent on the bills team the bengals no way should be favored by that much. -3 should be the most. |

last couple of seasons and even this season physical teams like the ravens, titans, eagles, jets & giants i notice the falcons will play somewhat hard like a scrimmage for the first half and then do shit in the second half. it seems like the physical pounding these teams inflict on the birds, both on the offensive & defensive lines, leave the falcons to say fuck it - we'll play all out next week. |

don't be surprised if pats don't show up again on sunday nite. playing against a pitt team while on the road and trying to go all out after last sunday's debacle will not be a wise thing to do. trying to win while getting battered vs pitt might in the long run screw up the pats in their upcoming games. very winnable games on the road and at home is when pats face the true contenders. if anything my feelling is that the steelers need this game more than the pats.

the only qb that miami has that would scare me out of betting tenn is thigpen. the other 2 we already lnow what they can do. thigpen has a higher upside than the other two.

Josh McDaniel sucks!!!! Other than developing a very good receiving corp and going 6-0 last season what else has he done as coach? nothing but lose a shitload of games and have raiders bypass his work w/ broncos. i thought broncos brought him to win now, not rebuild.

jets this year have been excellent road wariors w/ a record of 4-0. browns beat saints but saints were looking ahead vs steelers. browns beat pats but pats already had 3 tough wins vs real tough opponents. mangini and browns should fall waaay down from that high in beatiing hoody. jets should run all over browns. |

u mean the giants? that did cross my mind. giants will be tested vs philly. 1st good team they faced since titans.

i didn't see the game so just wondering if anybody got the impression that the pats were not into it yesterday? looking back after the fact i figured after 3 tough games they had to go on the road to face a team they normally would beat 9 outta 10 times but going on the road after 2 home games they probably just didn't have any type of will to play. think pats were overllooking browns and ahead to their meeting w/ steelers?

still a bigtime bullshit call!!!!! the guy who hit him in the head was already falling downwards on that play. that was an accidental slap to the back of the head. must be good to be nfl - manning royalty. i wonder if that guy is going to be fined. if so he shoulda punched manning in the badk of the head instead and make the most out of it.

doubt the nfl would let this happen but all i know is everytime i've seen him play the offense has gelled and the team has always been in a position to win vs good teams.he's making almost all of the throws, we know he can run and i can't take my eyes off the screen evertime he's on the field. strictly electrifying!!!!
