Dude, you are taking the Yankees, who win like 70% of the time.  That's not really going out on a limb when u take the Yankees.  Honestly, I don't think a memorial ceremony has anything to do with which team win.  If Tigers win, then people will say "oh, they won it for Harwell" but if Yanks win, people will say "The Tigers were too stressed".  It's like the playoffs when a team has a long-rest between series, if they win game 1, "they were well-rested".  If they lose, "they were rusty".
