replied to Erving Walker arrested for stealing a $3 taco..... in College Basketball Someone on sports radio said it best: 'It's college. Tacos are going to be stolen in the middle of the night.' If I was arrested for every late-night taco heist I participated in (or later became complicit by consuming tacos stolen by others) during college, I would be on death row. Do you have an e-mail address with a free webmail domain? (I'm sure you do, you are a professional, after all!) I am ready to board the Fezzik Express. Destination: Profit Central Station. I'm just about to get a huge windfall from this dude in the Congo whose brother died and left him a vault full of rubies and shit, but there was some administrative fee they had to cover to 'unlock' it (I'd have to check the e-mail to remember exactly). With NBA money, this guy will be able to afford to go back to college if he doesn't make it as a pro. Even guys like Matt Barkley aren't really going back to improve their draft stock (the extra year is just as likely to hurt your draft position as help). replied to Stratosphere? in Las Vegas If you want to go cheap, go IP. Better location, not nearly as bad as everyone says, no resort fees. Rooms are fine for sleeping, blazing up, and storing your luggage, which is all you need from your hotel on a Vegas trip... The only exception would be if you are trying to impress a date (even then, if she's sketched out by a center-strip hotel room, she's too much of a goody-two-shoes to bother with, anyway...) replied to Final Four Hoops in College Basketball Louisville plays defense and contests shots, while UK is constantly driving to the hoop. This is going to be a free-throw fest like the last two UK games, unless the officials decide to let up. I'm rooting for Louisville, but don't know if 8.5 is enough, considering how well the 'cats are playing and how tight the refs have been calling this tournament.
