created a topic White Sox vs Royals in MLB Betting Danny Duffy strolls into chi town to take on Miguel Gonzalez and I like the duff man early this afternoon. In 21 innings this season, most out of the pen, he's toting a 2.57 ERA, fanning batters at a 30% rate with a 2.23 FIP. Batters are hitting .231 off of Duffy, lefties at a .160 clip. Miguel Gonzalez opposes and looks to rectify his control issues. In 16 innings of work he has a 5.17 ERA, .395 OBP, 1.85 WHIP with a 11K/10BB ratio. The sox have been struggling at the dish lately, batting .222 against lefties with a .282 OBP. They have also been whiffing profusely their past few, striking out at a 26% rate, bodes well for Duffy and I like him to have 4+ punchouts. Batters have been having their way with Miguel Gonzalez up to this point, batting .297 against him, with a .848 OPS. The duff man will be on a 60 pitch limit but that's all I'll need from him this afternoon, i like the royals to jump on the sox early. Any intelligent feedback is always welcome. BOL. created a topic Marlins vs Nationals in MLB Betting 10-9 Going back to full analysis. Tanner Roark(R) takes the hump against Justin Nicolino(L) today in Miami and I like tanner to rectify his struggles. He's been touched up by Miami this year giving up 14 ER in 15 innings. Aside from that he's been tremendous, holding batters to a .227 BA, .292 SLG, a 20% SO rate along with a 3.16 FIP. Nicolino opposes and has had control issues of late. In his last 17 innings of work he has a 2K/9BB ratio with a .368 OBP and 1.68WHIP. Nicolino has a 11% walk rate that will be exposed, IMHO, by the Nationals. Nationals are #5 in the majors with a 10% walk rate and #5 in the majors on the road with 872 plate appearances. The fish' bats have been been whiffing lately(8K/9inn last 5) so I like tanner to have some ring ups early, couple that with nicolinos control issues and Washington discipline and I like nats early. created a topic Pirates vs Cubs in MLB Betting 8-7 Francisco Liriano takes on Jason hammel this afternoon at wrigley and I like the buckos early. Francisco has rounded into form in his last 3 starts. In 19 innings of work he has a 3.20 ERA, 2.59 OBP, 1.02 WHIP, along with a 22K/5BB ratio. He's seen a lot of the Cubs in his career, 5-2 with a 2.27 ERA in 11 cubbie starts he's even better at wrigley accruing a sub 2 era. Jason hammel looks consistent this year but he's had trouble with his command, 8BB in 11 innings. Cubs have had trouble against lefties at home this year batting only .182. The pirates have been swinging the lumber this year despite their mediocre record. The buckos have a .328 BaBiP(.335 on the road), .793 OPS(.811 on the road), and 1343 PA(796 on the road). Pittsburgh leads the league in plate appearances on the road and I think that bodes well against a SP who has control problems. Cutch usually shines in May and this year is no different, he also feasts on hammel, a career .333 in 27 AB, taking him deep 3 times with 6 ribbies. I think the buckos jump out early this afternoon at wrigley. The first five line isn't out yet but as of 11:38Pacific its pirates +133. I anticipate the F5(-.5) to be valued around +160+ as to which I will be all over. Any intelligent feedback is welcome. created a topic Rays vs Mariners in MLB Betting 6-6 Chris Archer does battle with Taijuan Walker in Seattle today and look no further for premium pitching. Archer has been terrific in his last 3 after a rough start. In his last 19 innings of work he has a 0.96 ERA, .236 OBP, 0.91 WHIP going 2-0. Walker has also been solid in his last 3 he has a 2.57 ERA with a 15K/1BB ratio. I think the difference will come at the dish, Seattle is batting .196 against RHP at home, couple that with archers success against them in the past(21 innings against 0 ER in last 3) and I like the Rays with the value early here.
