The amount of overtime games tonight is nuts! Can someone explain the Preds/Avs game? Like was fishy, Preds playing well in last 10 games, Pecka cruising, Avs losing and can't score, Preds solid vs Avs H2H.. saw quite a few on the Avs tonight and then it's 8-3. This can't just fall under the Avs were due to breakout and Rinne is overrated BS right? I'd like to be on the good side next time. Thanks |

Just heard that Price has the flu and is out on Sportsnet. Montoya is in apparently.

I'd say a lot more people are watching the Blue Jays this time of year. Its a combination of things, lack of Canadian teams, the playoff matchups aren't huge rivals like Habs/Bruins, Sportsnet, streaming from cable cutters etc..
No doubt ratings are down with the Canadian teams being done and out months ago. But there was a lot of excitement from the Blue Jays last year that has carried over even though the Jays haven't looked great. I know a lot of people that stopped watching hockey once baseball started. Plus, the Jays play almost every night and now the Raptors are creating some excitement too. Those are Canada's teams this time of year. |

Habs fans wouldn't have to speak up and defend PK if there weren't so many haters. Fact.
Cheaters? That's hilarious. I think PK is a phenomenal talent but he has to smarten up with his victim/agitator bit. He makes far too many poor decisions. And throwing his hands up immediately like that doesn't help. But people are acting like getting hit or slashed when going to the front of the net is a new thing. EVERY BODY DOES IT. Period. PK probably didn't need to go that far with it but if his stick hits a couple of inches lower and misses his hands.. it's a non issue. |

Last game of the Hawks road LONG road trip + Blues bounce back factor after getting run over badly by the Bus = Blues bet for me

Personally, I'd love to see the Habs beat the Rags in the conference final. Thumbs up to this thread PB!

A lot of players on this team will be unfocused coming into this game. Falcons back in 1rst place in their division; however, that is because they have gone 4-0 in the division. Their last two wins were close games against the Panthers and the Bucs but they are 0-6 outside their own division. Main reason is they have the #32 defense in the league currently and struggle when they don’t have a coaching advantage that knows a lot about their opponent. I’m not impressed. I respect your write-ups LC but this comment in bold baffles me. You're making it sound like they the Falcons haven't slept in their own bed or seen their family in over a month when that's not the case. Sure, they haven't played a game at home recently... but it's not like they've been living in hotels away from their families this whole time.

Nice to see you're still lurking. Do me a favor and put everything you have on the Colts today. Hopefully this fukkstick emptied his $30 bankroll on the Colts. Tough luck on the Jets. I had a feeling that the defense and turnovers would be a big factor in the outcome. Thankfully the Bills came out on top. I hope you go 4-1 with your plays dude.

First time seeing these Mac? The only worse retro uni is the Broncos... similar but the colors and scheme are much worse.

GL with your picks AMD. Much respect and god bless you for answering as many questions as you do.
As a huge Bills fan, I have a hard time backing my own team here. The Oline has not been good enough. Orton cannot escape pressure and the Jets front 7 definitely has the advantage.
Having said that, Dixon will get his share of touches. It won't all go to Bryce Brown. And Brown has looked good in limited action with Philly. He'll probably be playing with a chip on his shoulder considering how well he played in Philly only to be benched so far in Buffalo. Don't be surprised if he plays remarkably well, especially since the matchup on paper is terrible. Orton and Sammy have made plays when it counted. They've beaten teams that they probably had no business beating. Don't count them out... but I'd still have a hard time putting money on the Bills without FJax and Spiller. For those that like totals... this matchup has gone over 4 of the last 5 and 6 of the last 8. The total has only been set over 42 once in the last 10 matchups. I expect turnovers on both sides to help both teams put points on the board. I like the over with the defenses having something to do with it. |

If I get to 25... I'll be welcoming some Covers brothers to join me on my first trip to Vegas. If anyone has any strong feelings on any plays, I'll welcome suggestions.
Not that I've tailed anyone blindly on this run, but there's a few of you (you know who you are) that I gots mad respect for. Good luck to the best forum on Covers this year!!! Lipps, Weebs, LRR... thanks for everything you do around here. To all the regular posters.. Hook, T9, hitter, DB and on and on... Hope all your plays are money! Most of my plays will be on pucks going forward. I won't be making a pick everyday, gonna try to pick my spots and do my best to cash in this thing. If anyone has any uber gut hunches.. post 'em up! Keep me in your thoughts and prayers. |
