created a topic cavs v celtics in NBA Betting I've read several threads and most are going for the Cavs. And why not, LBJ is playing like a monster - carrying his team in the first 2 rounds. Much deserved to be considered the best team in the East in this year's playoffs and favored to win game 1 @ Boston. History and all, yes LBJ loves playing in Boston. I think he'll show up. I'm not sure about his supporting cast though after the long layoff. If Celtics have a chance this series (which I think they do), this is the game for them to start. Boston clearly has the advantage with depth, but that bench is too inconsistent throughout the playoffs. You figure this team is deep enough, but they're the worse in rebounding and gets killed on the glass. With that being said, John Wall should be able to steal this one away on the road. replied to Rockets Spurs game 6 thread in NBA Betting I'm making the assumption that all the leans will be on the Spurs +the points. I don't see the Rockets going cold at home, but if those shots don't fall outside, they're in trouble. With Nene out, Spurs can slow it down and play 2 bigs and beat them up inside. Spurs has that clear advantage as they dominated the paint Game 5. If this game slows down because the Rockets can't this their 3s, it'll be all Spurs. Then again, you can also argue the other side of it all with the Rockets hitting their 3s all night. It's the greatest equalizer, but with the Spurs staying home on defense and letting 2s instead of 3s - Spurs again has the advantage! Key note: Rockets played 7 players game 5. SEVEN all game including OT. D'Antoni doesn't preach defense to this team and it's led by James Harden. If I'm going to lay some $$$ - I'm taking the points with the SPURS.
