created a topic Mavs lighting it up in NBA Betting Was it just me or did the Mavs shoot about 80% in the 2nd quarter? I think the only way Mavs keep it close is if they keep hitting outside shots. Also, the NFL is probably the toughest sport for their fans to associate with the athletes. The front row seats at an NFL game are still 50 yrds from the action. The NFL recognized that and have made a conscious effort to make their players more accessible. He'll, they even put out a Saturday am cartoon. Because OU got in a slugfest with a tough TCU team now they suck. Never mind the big win at Notre Dame or slapping West Virginia around. Took a terrible call for Texas to beat a crap ISU team that will have 10 losses when the season is done. Case McCoy is one of the worst QB's in Div1. Not a chance this becomes a shoot out. The only way Texas covers is if their defense can make OU commit some turnovers but with OU's offensive line and run game I highly doubt it. I am an OU alum so I don't want to get too much homerism going here but I am thoroughly confused by the line movement. Chase McCoy is horrendous. Is there just that much stupid Texas money coming in to lower the line 2 points? Every neutral opinion I've heard has OU by 30. Hell, even Chrissy Simms predicted an OU victory by 4 scores.
