I think I'll put $16,750.00 on Memphis moneyline to win $200. Holds a ton of value. . . WTF

I recieved at gift/debit card from BetUS yesterday (I know it's not Bookmaker, but probably very similar situation). It was from giftcard. The giftcardsite says you cannot use it at ATMs. I called BetUS and they said I could use it at an ATM to withdrawl cash as they have worked it out with giftcard. I will have to call from the specific phone number that is listed on my BetUS account to activate it. I have not tried yet. I read through the Terms and Conditions and don't quite understand the 'maintenance fees' that are associated after 6 months use, etc. so I have not activated it yet. I much prefer the direct bank wires that they used to do, but I guess the card is their only method of payout now. I will more than likely withdrawl my entire bankroll and hope the card works at an ATM. Seems like the overseas books are making payouts more difficult and time consuming with hopes that people just won't mess with it and then play their bankroll down. I need to find a local, that's for sure. |

I requested a payout from BetUS. In the past they have directly bank wired my payouts to my bank without any difficulties. Now they are sending cards. I got the card yesterday. In reading the Terms and Conditions from card.I noticed that it says you CANNOT use the card at an ATM. I called BetUS and they say I can use the card at an ATM as they have worked this problem out with card. I also see some monthly 'maintenance' charges associated after 6 months of use. Has anyone recieved a card from BetUS and can you briefly explain if it is good to use at ATMs, is it filled associated fees, etc? Thanks

Anyone know anything about when/if J_U is going to be posting his 1H totals this season? He may be waiting to get a good feel for the teams, but last year (especially in the tournament) he was killing it. |

OSU started out at +3.5 or 4, this morning it was +5.5 and now at +7. Is this an indication of a Washington State blowout that the sharps are hitting?

I'm not sure about matchups but for scores I went to the home pages and looked at scores. You can also look at box score / results to view shooting percentage, etc. It's time consuming for sure. There may be an easier way, but that's the only one I know.

Be cautious on gonzaga. Against tougher conference's the zags are 3-3: USC Loss by 6, Ole Miss loss by 1, Wash St win by 2, Wash St win by 18, Notre Dame loss by 9 and Iowa win by 6. Wash St is awful, take that away and they are 1-3. UCLA has four losses this year, one to LSU by 1 and 3 to Stanford by 26, 14 and 9 (they improved each time). Against similar opponents UCLA beat ND @ ND by 3 in 2OT, beat Wash St twice by 25 and 18, beat USC twice by 19 and 7. They also beat temple and arizona st twice (2 WNCAA tournament teams).

I see this game the same as I seen the Flordia game. You have an Akron team that finished 3rd or 4th in a weaker MAC who lost the last 2 of their 3 regular season games by 11 at Kent St and by 25 at Ohio. Got streaky and won their conference tourney (two of those games in OT, the last one they got 2 blocks on shots by Kent St to hold on 66-65). They are traveling 6.5 hours to play in what is essentially an at home game for ND (1.5 hr travel). ND has an average win margin of 11.8 points since February in a tough Big East conference. ND will get out to an early lead, the crowd gets behind them and Akron folds. ND by 19-24pts. Look for ND to cover the 1H -8 as well.

I thought this was interesting (maybe i'm looking to hard): In Tennessee's last 4 games they have been winning at the half by 5 against Florida, by 12 against Arkansas, by 7 against Kentucky and by 17 against S. Carolina. They lost to Florida and Kentucky and beat Arkansas by 4 and S. Carolina by 6. Michigan's last 6 at half are losing by 4 to Ohio St., losing by 11 to Illinois, up by 8 to MSU, up by 2 against Minnesota, up by 1 to wisconsin, and down 8 to Iowa. They ended up beating Illinois by 5, MSU by 7, Minn by 7, lost by 1 to wisconsin and beat Iowa by 3, lost to Ohio St by 7. If Michigan is down at the half it may be a good bet to play them in the 2h. Maybe put a small wager on Tenn -1/2 for the 1h. |

I'm liking Florida to cover -12.5 against an 18-13 UCSB team that fininshed fourth in their conference. They did get hot going into their conference tournament and won it (probably why they got into the tourney) but I don't see them covering the number with an RPI of 162 and a schedule of 222nd. This game is pretty much a home game for Florida and UCSB is making a very long travel to play. Florida will come out to make a statement after being embarrassed by Kentucky in the SEC title game and once that 'home' crowd gets behind them UCSB will fold.

Kentucky covers. Princeton is a decent team but not in the same league as Kentucky. You could call Harvard about an equal to Princeton as Princeton beat them by 1pt 3/12 and lost by 12 to Harvard on 3/5. Harvard lost at Ok St by 17 first round of NIT. Kentucky just beat Florida by 16 in the SEC championship and Alabama by 14 in the Semi's. Florida is def a better team than Princeton and was playing hard for a SEC title and was handled by Kentucky. Princenton did play a Kentucky like quality team in Duke in November and lost by 37. Look at how Bama, VTech and Boston College have done in their games vs. teams from weaker conferences.

Maybe look at VT 1h -11.5. Since the first of this year(2011) their avg margin going into the half is up by 11.1 pts against better competition than Bethune IMO (St. Mary's, FSU, Wake, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Duke, Boston College). I am leaning this pick but just a little weary of the let down they could have since they aren't playing in the tourney they want to be in.
