But anyhow, he was 37 when he won his last grand slam final. Same age as Novak now.  I’d say 35+ is starting to near the end of your athletic career.

I think everyone would say that Herbert is way more mobile than Stroud. Stroud played harder and upped his level of play. Had his longest rush of the year and probably career on Saturday.  Stroud I don’t consider a super mobile qb.  Baker mayfield and Herbert both have better pocket presence than Stroud does imo.  

Houston defense was very legit between Al-Shaair and Stingley in particular.

From what I saw from Stroud was impressive. I think he has a next level about him where he turns it up for the playoffs.  Was pretty bad all year but he played with a lot of heart on Saturday. Herbert didn’t have that “turn it up” factor.  Intensity and urgency got to raise a bit. 

Lol there were literally people posting threads on Saturday that said “I am betting the white coach over the black coach.” Don’t act like people don’t cap like that here. I am catering to the audience like I said.  The only obsession here is from AJ.
