Not sure I'd say more talented, but definitely better coached and going to win. |

Pacers are known to be a 2nd half team - especially over the last month. Can't believe they are only 4.5 favorites. Thought this would be 6 at a minimum considering their play of late. I'll take the Pacers here and likely agree with the total as well. BOL |

wish the ML would have cashed, I still can't believe they let them put the offensive rebound in so easily, but the game played out mainly like i expected.

superman - injuries definitely hurt them, without a doubt. However, IMO, they still have the talent to overcome those injuries. I'm not saying I expected them to win the national championship after OG went down, but I definitely expected them to be comfortably in March Madness. At this rate, they will not be getting an invitation to the NIT.
We will see if they come out with a sense of urgency tonight. I expect the Hoosiers to be leading at the end of the first half and for MN to make a run in the 2nd half, but falling just short.

As I've stated on these boards numerous times, I'm a ridiculously huge IU homer. Nobody on planet earth loves the Hoosiers basketball program more than me, and I seriously repeat NOBODY.
Having said that, this team has been probably been the most massively underachieving IU team in their history. I've made a bunch of money fading the Hoosiers in their last several games. However, as I've stated before, I know this team like the back of my hand. After being embarassed in back to back games against Michigan and Purdue at home, I think today they come out and play an overall much more balanced game. This is a good spot for them to have a rebound game, especially against a Minnesota team that is not nearly as good as their record would indicate. Unfortunately, IU still will have stupid turnovers and moments of lapses on defense, but this team is still ridiculously talented and can most certainly take down Minnesota.
I've got ML action and +5. Best of luck to all. |

i guess i was wrong on the blowout - but not wrong on my team losing. as i said earlier - i know this team. And i knew they were not winning that game last night. It sucks to suck. kind of like Kentucky.

I am most certainly a homer fan who has been betting on them for the majority of the season. This is just a very bad spot for them and it is easy for a fan like myself to identify these spots as I know every single player on this team like the back of my hand.

Eddy --- you waiting on Blackmon's status really proves that you are a Kentucky fan... very very stupid.
Coming from the world's biggest IU fan, they are going to get slaughtered tonight. They have no one inside to deal with both Haas and Swanigan. Thomas Bryant is a joke and it's going to be very ugly tonight. |

Wow, but of all the ridiculous crap in this thread I read, this was by far the most outrageously dumb comment quite possibly ever uttered by any human being in the history on planet Earth. I don't care who you are and what your belief system is, but there is NO WAY in hell that you can call Ronald Reagan the WORST president of all time. That is absolute blasphemy and you sir ought to be ashamed of yourself. Even if you don't like Raegan, which is fine, there are plenty of other US Presidents that were SOOOO much worse and that is just plain and simple facts. If you can't get that through your skull, may god have mercy on your soul.

So last night, for some ungodly unknown reason, the Commish decided to come into Indianapolis to watch the Monday night game between the Pacers and the Wizards. I was sitting courtside for this game and the Commish literally was sitting DIRECTLY behind me. I've never been so star struck in my entire life as I shook his hand before the game and let him know what an honor it was to sit next to him. The entire game, I couldn't have cared less about the product on the court, as I was eavesdropping on the Commish's conversations with his right hand men. Here are the lessons I learned during the game: 1) The Commish is not a fan of the M&Ms. For some reason, the only item the dessert cart had was M&Ms. The Commish's right hand men got him some, but the Commish politely declined. 2) The Commish is a HELL of a nice guy. I started the picture train last night as I was the first one to notice him. 3) The Commish likes to play over/under of WHEN the game will officially end. The line was set at 9:30pm EST and the Commish had the over and WON. Not sure how much he took off of his right hand men, but it was GLORIOUS to laugh along on this bet. |

Such an easy pick, Dallas is so bad. They just lost by almost 40 points at home to the Kings. The Pacers are going to mop the floor with them.
Oh wait, that is what the betting public thinks. I live in Indianapolis and I'm a huge Pacers fan. This team is not that good this year. I also watched the Pacers play Dallas in the season opener here in Indy. The Mavs should have won that game. I expect the Mavs to play a tough fought game, especially after Carlisle ripped into them. Finally, my model has predicted this game as a pick'em. So we are getting 5 points of value and betting against the public. Can't get much better than that.
