Yo Brutal - haven't posted in a while but I always follow your WNBA trials and tribulations and particularly the musings about a certain L. Cambage. Reason for re-logging into my account to bump this thread is this: as I am sitting next to my heavily pregnant wife scrolling through Scandinavian tier 2 football leagues on Bet365 (as you do) I came across something that caught my eye: "Esoccer live arena - 10 mins play" I saw some names that rang a bell in the depths of my memory: CarlWhizzer, OoLancer. Perhaps the reason people couldn't find it before is because they were looking for it in "Esports" but it seems the market is located in "Soccer"... I came back and found this thread to check and it seems I've found what you were looking for. There seems to be only a few markets available - win-draw-win, asian handicap, goal line and goals over/under. Feel free to message me if you wish to discuss further - I am a solicitor in Australia so I'd like to think I'm a fairly trustworthy guy. I myself have no real interest in betting this because I have no idea about this particular (e)sport. Serb |

On the topic of timeouts, I can't believe no one is questioning why the Raptors didn't use their final timeout with 15 seconds to go at the end? I am sure they had one time out remaining. Surely it doesn't take an analytical genius to know that you've got to call that timeout. If nothing else you advance the ball, which saves 3-5 valuable seconds. Then you can try for a quick offensive set. Make or miss, you extend the game, maximise your possessions and get at least a 2-for-1 scenario. It seemed to me that Toronto were going for a one and done type of situation where they went for broke at the end there. Not very smart basketball.

Lol! That's a lot of detail for a fantasy...are you sure it hasn't actually happened?! Alas it's unlikely...Liz is too busy with her DJ residency. Plus you didn't mention anything about paying her and we all know how that would go down. GL today. |

Hahahaha I am laughing my a$$ off about that fantasy. Nice one. May I request next fantasy to involve Liz Cambage? |

Bads, I'm a long time follower of your threads (but not the bets - the swings are too big for me). Just want to give credit where it's due - you were down like 700 units in MLB this year and you have clawed your way back. This isn't the first time either. I'd appreciate your advice - how do you persevere when you are down so much? I'd guess it's never outside your bankroll but being down -700 is a lot for most punters. It's particularly impressive if you cap on a game by game basis. That's a lot of faith in your ability to bounce back. Good luck. |

Anyone know why clips fouled down 3?? Was about a 5-7 sec difference between game and shot clock...no timeouts left but it seemed like their game plan to foul anyway. Can't think why they would do that

yo @anaheimRX, Interesting post. Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. Being
from Without meaning to sound like too much of a conspiracy theorist, I tend to agree with your views - Vegas uses the media to its advantage and knows what the 'average joe' is thinking. Spreads are adjusted accordingly, without necessarily being objective indicators. Our job is to "see behind the facade" and make an objective comparison between Team A's strength vs Team B on any given Sunday, compare that with the set spread, and bet accordingly. Easier said than done, of course. Today was a good example - Minny closed as 3.5 point home faves, after 3 impressive wins and one of the best defenses in the league right now. NYG were 2-1 playing sub-par opposition (and defense) and barely scraped those wins out. In my view, laying the points was justified on this occasion – all this talk of “regressing to the mean” is pointless unless you know WHEN the regression will occur. Minny is rolling right now, they have a huge presence at home and are simply a better team than NYG right now. No reason to think that regression would occur this game and those who objectively saw NYG for what they were (ie, not a great team) were rewarded accordingly. -The

Rome wasn't built in a day. Leggo Canada v Senegal Canada should dominate here and even if they rest players, I think their second five is still better than Senegal. Unlike Puerto Rico's second five last night. Canada -22.5 @1.90 (Sportsbet) Philippines v New Zealand As a basketball fan, Philippines' play last night was great to see. As a basketball purist, however, they showed a very limited, 1-on-1 offense that wasn't all that impressive. Against a much smaller NZ which boasts strong players in the form of Webster (x2), Abercrombie and Vukona, and who witnessed the Philippine threats live last night, I see no justification of the big line. NZ are not intimidated by the Philippines; I think they genuinely feel like the favourites in this matchup. NZ Tall Blacks +7.5 @1.8 (Ladbrokes) I'm not taking NZ to win but it wouldn't surprise me. Greece v Mexico Mexico lifted for a passionate victory against Iran last night but those feelings will be short-lived. Yes, Greece may rest players but I actually think this line is way too low regardless so must take it. Greece -19.5 @1.87 (Sportsbet) Croatia v Tunisia See above. Add in that Croatia don't like losing and that they must win this game. Equals Croatia -22.5 @1.87 (Sportsbet) Definitely not taking Serbia -26.5 v Angola but I really want to. Let's just say I lean that way. GL! |

France -17.5 @ 1.83 (Bet365) Puerto Rico -18.5 @ 1.83 (Sportsbet) Czech Republic +2.5 @ 1.85 (Ladbrokes) Croatia ML @ 3.3 (Bet365) Croatia +6.5 @ 1.9 (Sportsbet) Rough - Croatia, Puerto and Czechs were all there to be won but it wasn't to be. Gotta give credit to Phil though - they showed a ton of heart and competitive spirit. Overall record 2 W 6 L |

Puerto Rico v Angola Puerto Rico won the second half vs my boys Serbia last night and will ride that momentum into this game, which looms as a must win for them. I fully expect them to take care of business here and get out to a quick lead. Barrea is by far the best player on the court and he will do what Joseph did to Turkey tonight. Puerto Rico -18.5 @ 1.83 (Sportsbet) Czech Republic v Latvia I was surprised that Latvia were favoured in this game. These nations are not that far apart in the world rankings and to my mind the Czechs field the better lineup. The stalwart Jiri Welsch, beast 6'7 PG Satoransky who plays for Barca and Vesely who can jump out of the gym. Latvia rely heavily on the shooting of particularly Bertrands but I think these players would be known to the Czechs very well from the Euroleague. Czech Republic +2.5 @ 1.85 (Ladbrokes) Italy v Croatia This is my value play. I'm all over Croatia and the trio of Bogdanovic, Hezonja and Saric. Each of them are very, very good at what they do and I'm not sure Italy will have the legs to keep up with the Croatians after playing a day ago (though they cruised to victory). I don't really rate Barg or Belinelli and think they can be shut down. Croatia ML @ 3.3 (Bet365) Croatia +6.5 @ 1.9 (Sportsbet)
