Thnx 4 for clarifying this Packers, I got no hawkeye on the match point on Eurosport. It seems it was a stupid conspiracy theory after all... |

Great match! Stan got a deserved win since he showed great mental stregth and great skills. Tsitsipas has himself to blame since he managed to convert only 5 out of the 27 break points he created. I'm sure he will recover and learn from this defeat. However... On several occasions and on less crucial points we were shown the unofficial hawk eye which in all cases confirmed the umpire's decision. Did we get the hawk eye view on the match point? No. I'm not saying the ball was out but it is quite fishy, isn't it? I mean, if the hawk eye showed the ball was actually in why not share it with us? Great call by the umpire, Stan happy he won, Tsitsipas content he wasn't robbed, everything OK. BUT, what if the hawk eye showed the ball was out? Just imagine the scandal. A five-hour epic match decided by a wrong umpire decision... Would the organisers share it with us? I don't think so. We are talking about the same people who kicked Thiem out of the conference room because Serena wouldn't wait for her turn... Maybe it's just a stupid conspiracy theory but I can't help wondering. What u guys think? |

He said his goals for 2019 were: reach the semis in a slam. tick! be in the top ten. be in atp finals in london. It all seems pretty doable atm... |

Haha!!! It's "spanakopita" mate. I guess no one saw this coming... I mean, we all knew he was good but to reach the semis of the very first slam of the year was quite unexpected. |

I like your picks packer, especially the parlay which looks pretty solid. My concern is Isner. He looked really bad vs Fritz in Auckland. I even thought Opelka was a possible dog to back. Before reading your thread that is. Now I'm having second thoughts... |

First of all, I wanna wish a happy and profitable year to all forum budies. This game will be a repetition of the recent Tokyo final where Nishikori lost in straight sets hands down. Today's final might be closer but hopefully the result will be a repetition as well. Medvedev has been playing like a machine for quite a long time now and I can't see why he is considered the underdog here. Nishikori is not a pushover for sure but I somehow feel the odds here are wrong. I might be mistaken but I will take my chances and back the 'dog' in this one at 2.30. |

Question should be : Does anyone outside Djoker win a slam in 2019? My vote would be the same... |

Cilic was serving for the set and got broken then lost the first set. This has happened so many times to him in the second half of the season it has become a habbit. |

Found Cilic at +110 which seems like a bargain but Zverev is capable of best and worst. Any thoughts? |

I'd still like to read your point of view on why Tsitsi was a (justified) favourite though.

Packers, why is Tsitsi favoured over Fognini? I don't get it. I mean Tsitsi has been playing well and he is motivated hoping to keep the London dream alive but Fognini is more experienced and he has been having a great year too so far. I was ready to go big on Fognini thinking odds were a real bargain till I read your post. Elaborate please.

Nah Pack. It was a good call. Odds were too good to pass. I was on the same train. Should De Minaur advances vs Simon, I think Tsitsi will go down in the 2nd round. To the next one...
