With 12 games in the books in almost 11pm, I am leading in Game 13 only to lose it in the end. Penn St. is +17.5 and down 14 in the 4th quarter drives it down to the Ohio St 10 for a 3rd and 2. They don't come away with the td after turning it over on downs. Ohio St scores 2 unanswered tds to cover the 17.5 winning by 28. I lose my 7 dollar bet which paid over 31000.
Here is the losing ticket. I am trying to get over this one. It hurts. MOBILE 10/11/2015 09:45 PM

The good news is the Astros are really good to me and I took them down 3-2 with an in game bet +180.
They can come back again and make up for those bad defensive plays. Street got 4 outs last night so he may not have a full tank coming in. Astros can get to him if they can apply pressure by getting 2 on quick. Then the meat of the order can get the big hit to tie or win. Have faith Houston backers! |

Feeling great about today's plays.
Week 1 was fantastic. Week 2 was much tougher. Week 3 looks great. Having had a chance to watch these teams and see stats for 2 weeks I feel much more comfortable now. Here are the plays: Tulsa +30 , letdown spot for the Sooners in an in state game. I can't see Oklahoma running it up unless Tulsa turns it over a bunch. Tulsa is rolling on offense through 2 games and should be able to score enough to cover the big number GA Tech -135 ML, Here is a recap of Tech's last 6 games, beat ranked Clemson, beat ranked UGA, lost to ranked FSU by 2 in ACC Championship game, beat ranked MIss St, scored 60 plus points vs two weaker opponents to start season. Tech was 5-1 in true road games in 2014. Bowling Green ML +135 , both teams come in with some momentum and both fan bases are optimistic. Falcons QB Matt Johnson is rolling and the most dangerous player on the field. SInce BG moved the ball vs Tennessee they get my pick. They had over 500 yards of offense in that game. Ole Miss +7, Lots of hype around this game. Makes Bama dangerous. But I like the confidence Ole Miss brings into this matchup. Last 3 teams Saban was a 7 or less point favorite at home the Tide lost outright. Chad Kelly has receivers who with time can connect and exploit Bama's most vulnerable unit. USC ML -325, Love the Trojans. Size, speed, and power, along with momentum and home field, along with the talent advantage (Stanford lost alot to draft) are all reasons I love the Trojans. UK ML +145, It is time for the Wildcats to make a statement. It's been almost 30 years since the Cats have beaten the Gators. Tonight is the night behind Towles who can really make a statement in the SEC East that he is the leader behind an improved defense to get Stoops his biggest win since last week when the Cats upset SCarolina in Columbia. Miami -2.5, love the Canes behind Kaya at home in this spot. Nebraska coach Mike Riley is off to a rough start in his new job. Golden needs this signature win and the Canes offense is rolling. Kaya is a good one when he has time and plays within the gameplan. Canes will be ready. |

Georgia can run the ball and play defense so they should win this game at home. However covering that number will be tough with a new transfer quarterback who has only been on campus a few weeks and a new OC. The passing game is a huge question mark since the Dawgs lost one of their top receivers for the season and don't have much depth at that position to begin with. Closer then the experts think in my opinion.
I do love Nick Chubb running the ball. I don't think the Dawgs care about covering this line. They just want to win and stay healthy for SEC play which begins next Saturday as they face Vandy.

3-0 on the season with Montana +14.5, under UNC / USC 62, and under Utah / Michigan 43.5.
6 games worth playing today. The goal is a good day at 4-2 although 5-1 and 6-0 would be a great day. UL-Monroe +36 Kentucky -16.5 bought hook Tennessee - 20.5 bought hook Wisconsin +14.5 bought hook Arizona State +3.5 bought hook Louisville +11.5 bought hook Paid a little extra for the juice so lets see if its worth the squeeze. Thanks for all the feedback. I was talked into a new site by friends who know these guys who provide their picks. He says they know college football lines inside and out and will come through at seasons end.
I went with thenickspicks.com. They are new online but less expensive then the others. Their site just went live this week.
What do you think of their site? I will try it out for the season. $375 for 15 weeks didn't seem like much compared to packages offered elsewhere. They basically offer picks for $5 each but for college football only. Looks like they will only be offering college sports picks which is what I enjoy betting anyway. |

I appreciate all the comments. Wasn't what I was looking for. I asked not whether it was a good or bad idea but for specifics for someone looking into it. I just don't have the time to do the work myself and most of these professional handicappers advertise profitable systems. Wanted to know if they are legit and who stands out as the best. I also was wondering how you get the picks from them. Do they email them to you, do you log in on the site and receive them there? All of those questions I asked in my first post were the specific answers I was seeking. Not others opinions on what is the best way to utilize my time while looking to make a profit betting on college football.

What is the best way to choose a NCAA football hanidcapper for the season? There are so many of them.
Who is the recommended choice for the best service/record? Are the cappers advertising their legit records and is their a way to confirm their legitimacy? Best price? When do you receive the picks and how? Anything else relevant to letting a pro do the work? Thanks for the feedback.

Siena has lost 3 straight at home. They are 4-7 at home on the season. They blew an 11 point lead in their last game. The Purple Eagles can still win this one but Sienna played much better in the first half and has a 2-1 edge on the glass so it will be tough but possible.

No, it gives a live dog a nicer ML payout if they stay hot and the other team stays cold!

If Siena wins, I suppose the 5 game losing streak down the stretch was all part of the plan to come in ice cold.
Niagara has won 4 straight including a road win at Rider and come in playing their best basketball of the season. I know little about either team but I can't pass up a ML play on the hotter team in the conference tournament. They are a live dog in my book. Niagara +140 for one unit. Good luck on your 8 unit MAC 8 vs 9 tourney play on Siena.

I have been hot for a few months collecting most weeks from my local. I started my week on Monday 0-2 losing on Pitt by a hook and Kansas in a wild one and last night I lost some juice as I hit the front of an if and lost the back so I am in an unfamiliar position of being down on Wednesday. Both the games I like today and will probably play are mentioned in this thread. I am looking at Indiana St and Oakland. Good luck tonight.
I also see a spot where UNI could get upset. They have lost their last two games at Loyola Chicago who play defense yielding only 60 ppg. Loyola is playing well right now taking 3 of their last 4. UNI is shooting lights out which makes it tough to play against them but I can see them being upset tonight if they don't continue shooting the three ball well. I like the Cuse pick. Harrell is an absolute monster in the post. Christmas is one guy in the conference who can match up against him. Louisville doesn't typically shoot it well from the perimeter and without Jones the zone is likely to cause them problems.
