Yeah, he was a good guy.  Owner of an iconic franchise for that many decades, many would say made him an icon himself. Some life he must have lived, as others mentioned in another thread... and yes, those Laker Girls were nice!

He'll be missed I'm sure.

Today's news regarding Dr. Buss saddened me. Though I never met him, he seemed like a good guy from everything I saw and heard. He came across as down-to-earth and humble, especially for someone in his position... which is the way a (wise) person should be.

You guys are right, what an incredible life he must have lived in one of the most beautiful places in world.

Lennon65: Not sure if you are referring to me with your little jabs (followed by a peace sign), that you decided it was necessary to chime in with, in two different threads. If you were not, then ignore this and accept my apology. If your two cents were however referring to me, you're wrong in a couple different ways. First of all, I am not seeking attention, especially that of someone the likes of this lowlife. That's the last thing I would want from a sports-betting forum. Secondly, you're taking the side of the person who was in the wrong. Take a look at the completely unprovoked comments of the wacko (in seperate threads) for yourself, if you like. I see you have many posts and have been here for quite some time also, and perhaps you feel the need to show support for someone you have "known" here for years. If that's the case, whatever, but like I said, I don't "love the attention." I was just responding to this jackass and his unprovoked vile commentary.

Also, I don't owe any of the people that seem to (pathetically) live here, and, somehow think they own the place, any sort of explanation for starting a thread on a public sports-betting forum, but I will offer one anyway. This thread was simply due to people requesting Mr. Bator's plays in another thread, mentioning that they often had a hard time finding them in various threads - in a timely manner. The whole thing was simply me volunteering to start that day's thread for him to post his plays in, if he wanted to do so. It originated from this thread here:

How is it that there's such a seemingly endless supply of VERY low class, but very angry filth from your rat-infested neck of the woods? Is it rooted in a substandard upbringing (crappy parents that also had crappy parents?)? Something in the air that creates a disposition towards being an angry a-hole? Never could quite figure that out... but it's kind of amusing actually. Well, at least there is good pizza there.
