Cowboys at Redskins

The Skins started fast last week and shortly went back to what we all expected allowing 450 yards to the Eagles offense and blowing a 17-0 lead. That game was the only one that didn’t cover for us last week and we will fade the skins once more, this game will not have a hot start for then again, specially being a a weak home-advantage team (look at last year).The Cowboys offense looked a lot better under Kellen Moore calling the shots. Their Defense should have a good game against a banged up Redskins team. Guice is out, so is defensive lineman Jonathan Allen and corner back Quinton Dunbar might also miss this game. Prescott and Gallup should once more rack up a good amount of yards. Also expect Zeke to get more involved, there will be no 50-50 split carries with Pollard this week.

Agree with 49ers analysis. 

If you are considering Miami and the points like I am maybe the best play there is the over. Fins are terrible but they always play hard against their division rival Patriots. 18+ os perhaps the largest home dog in 20 years.

if Fins score 14+ points at home this can easily con over. The Pats will score there is no doubt on that, the question is hoy many points will the Fins score at home. Is a nice let down spot for a Pats defense who are coming of shutting down the steelers.

Bucs at Panthers

Bucs defense looked improved allowing the 49ers a low 4.4 yards per play. It was Jameis Winston and the offense who looked terrible at home. I mentioned on my previous posts the Niners Defense was underrated but the Bucs looked plain awful. Panthers on the other hand could have beaten the Rams if it wasnt for a couple fumbles that cost them points and resulted on a Rams touchdown. Good spot for them to bounce back on their second home game. Bucs will not have an answer for CMC. Line is likely to move to 7 before gametime, im biting.

Nice 4-1 start of the season. Eagles should have covered, started really slow and Skins score meaningless td with 6 seconds left to void me of a perfect weekend. Props to Keenum tho. Moving on.

Texans at Saints

Texans play on the Monday night with a healthy Watson, Hopkins and Fuller. This offense will move the ball and score some points. I like a shootout here with the texans keeping it close and might even sneak out a win if history tells you anything. Saints stink at openers. At 7 ill take the points. I also lean on the Over 52.

Ravens at Fins

I'm not buying the Fitzmagic or the "Its so tough to play in Miami in September" story this year. The bottom line is Miami might be the worst team in football this year. Their offense will have a very hard time putting up points against a top 5 defense. The Dolphins run defense was ranked 31st last year and I don't see it getting any better, this team is in full rebuild mode. Ravens play tough during preseason and it shows in the opener, look up the last 2 openers for this team, its no joke and i bet the trend continues. Mark Ingram, Lamar Jackson and company pile up more than 175 rushing yards and win by more than a touchdown.  

Ravens -6.5

Skins at Eagles 

Wentz is finally 100% healthy and a solid defense that will create enough problems on the trenches, Keenun will have  hard time finding a WR core that's far from impressive. Eagles fly high at home.

Eagles -9.5

Niners at Bucs

Niners Defense is better than most people think. Yes, the secondary is not a big deal but their Defensive line is full of young first rounders ready to pressure Winston all day. You saw Jimmy G early on preseason, expect some rustiness on Sunday when real football begins. I like the unders on week 1 so im taking the bite here.

Under 51

Chiefs at Jaguars

Even tho the money is coming in on the Jags I just dont see it. Pat Mahomes is the real deal and Tyreek Hill has been cleared to play. Who is going to stop Kelce? Foles is playing behind an Oline with 2 starting rookies. Chiefs by a tD.

Packers at Bears Under 47

Give me the best ranked defense at home vs Rodgers 0 snaps on pre-season. Still not sold on Trubinsky. Bears will run first with Montgomery and get Cohen involved with short passes to the RB, clock keeps ticking making the under a solid play.

Arizona -10.5

last year it took quite a while for arizona to get used to coach Sumlin’s system. Khalil Tate only threw 11 Tds in the first 7 games. However, he ended up strong throwing 15 in the last 4 games. A healthy Tate and JJ Taylor pounding the ball will make it a long night for a mediocre Rainbow Warrior defense. Zona covers with ease.

Texans -1

Texans offense have been moving the ball this preseason with 56 points scored in 2 games and passing the 400 yards of offense in both matches. The boys have not shown much interest in winning preseason games. In this “starters” week 3, Zeke is not playing and Cooper will most likely be out still recovering from a heel injury. 

Hawks -3

The Chargers are likely to play it conservative with their remaining healthy starters. This will limit the amount of top talent on the filed against a team who likes to win in preseason. Look for Russell Wilson to get a few drives and build a nice lead for the Seahawks.

Taking the home dog here. Dobbs and Rudolph are solid pre season QBs. They will both get significant time as they battle for the second string qb spot. Also expect Pitts defense to be significantly better than last week against the chiefs backups.
