Haven’t posted in a couple weeks.  One bad week and one good week when not posting; crazy busy at work with retirements and taking over new responsibilities.  

one lookahead line to consider for week 14 is Washington +18.5.  It’s moved in the last couple days from -110 to -114 but still on the board.  

Oregon has been on cruise control the last couple weeks with injuries and bigger games ahead (Big Ten title game).   With the announcement that they’re officially locked in to the conference championship game now, I can’t see a reason the cruise control approach doesn’t continue here vs. UW.  
I’ve locked in UW +18.5 for just under 2 units here.  Oregon wins, but “closer than the experts think”.

Exactly!  

When I moved to Las Vegas in 2010 for my real world job I quit Fantasy Football to focus on college football sports betting.  Only recently are my boys and nephews getting me back into it.  Knock on wood, but my two fantasy teams are 6-1 and 5-1 (odd # of teams so bye weeks), so I still have a half azz idea of how the NFL is going, but don't bet it.

Not really in love with any of these, just locking in a starting position and will go from there.  Probably should have waited on MSU, but was seeing 6.5 elsewhere when I took the +7.  Talk of Rourke coming back already and IU as an against the spread darling so far, I probably grabbed that one too soon. MSU looks good eye-ball test the last two weeks to me; they missed some opportunities early vs. UM to jump out to a better lead last night.  Kicked Iowa's butt more than the scoreboard showed.

Rich Rod said that he thinks Tyler Huff will be able to play.  And I'm not too worried about the 2nd RB.  Top guy is playing well right now.  Short answer is that I think Jacksonville State is the better team.  You are right that if Liberty is going to show any fire this year, now would be the time with coming off the upset loss and still in contention for the CUSA championship game.  That said, Liberty has looked flat all year and their lines have been inflated due to last year's success more than anything they've done on the field in 2024.  I do worry some about Liberty at home and seemingly motivated (we'll see, I'll believe it when I see it type thing).  It's more a numbers play than anything for me.  Raw #s Jax State about a TD favorite believe it or not.
