U were right JJJ,
I got absolutely robbed on the lakers over. It just had to go to OT to push it over, but they hit the buzzer beater, they also had like 90 seconds to score 3 points. Should have been a 3-0 total night but ill take the 2-1. Record: Total:6-2 Spread 1-1

Just thinking... (And if this isnt allowed on this forum category, sorry in Advance and just send me a msg)
Would anyone be interested in a sudden death pick contest? I haven't seen anything like that around here and im looking to create a contest. I think it would be something fun on the side for us while still making our picks. The contest rules would be something like this (open for advice): After determining the number of participants in the contest, I will create a bracket structure randomly. This will place one person against another, and the winner would progress to the next round. The format: Each "battle" will last 3 days. Each participant has a limit of 10 picks to make (avg of 4, 3, 3 each day, but you can make 10 picks in one day if that is your style). The person with the highest amount of picks will progress to the next round. There will be a rest day after the 3 days. In the rest day, if there is a tie, each person can make a total of 5 picks. Also, each person will have to make a guess of the exact total of a selected basketball game. If it still ends in a tie out of the 5 picks, then whoever chose the closest total value of the match will progress to the next round. Now, im sure youre thinking if there is a prize money. I am open for it, but if majority are not, then thats cool and we won't go ahead with it. If you like the idea of a prize pool, please suggest your entry fee. After i read all the suggestions, we can average it out, and I will make a pay out structure. This would also create bragging rights as the best capper on the forum (some incentive). It would be awesome to get at least 16 people in this (more the better of course) I am not sure if i am allowed to put down my email address, so i wont do that for now until i find out. But just PM me or comment below if interested. The picks would be made on a thread on covers forum for transparency. Let me know what you think. |

I haven´placed a bet in the United States.
But I am a full time professional in sports betting. (currently in Mexico). I know that online sports betting is so below standard in the United States as they don´t have access to betfair, bet365 etc. due to laws. (below standard in means of the website standard, odds, lines, service (cash out opportunities), withdrawal. I´ve visited the US online sportsbooks (which looks like its from the 90´s), and was wondering, do US sports betters wish they had the sites other countries have access to? You can see so many other alternative markets in terms of handicaps and totals for any US sport matches on the non-US based sites. Would you prefer to have a intermediary/middleman service for your bets? Such as, a 3rd party places the bet for you, if it wins, the 3rd party will transfer to you the difference of the winnings and the bet stake, and if the bet loses, you pay the 3rd party for the stake amount. This way, the 3rd party isn´t taking your money from the beginning, and will always be in the hands of the consumer. So, the risk would actually be on my business instead of the consumer. The winnings would be paid straight back to the consumer on the same day. This is probably one of the main advantages as (from my research) it takes a week or more for withdrawals to be processed to the consumer in the United States from a US based website. It´s an idea I have for the US based sports betters as I have run into a fair few Americans and they complain that I have access to much better online sportsbooks. There are so much more markets, better odds and lines on the non-US based sites. I am looking for people interested in my business or would like to invest in it (%), please message me and I will get to you asap. Also, if you have any suggestions, advice, etc, then please comment below. |
