replied to Picks in Tennis Btw, I don't get people who would bet against Serena. It's either bet her or no play, really. This is the best WTA player of this era. So what if there was a layoff. Would you bet against Michael Jordan his 1st game back after he played 2 years of baseball? Well, we all saw how that turned out. It's absolutely ridiculous to just blindly bet on Serena's opponent/s (who everyone would prolly say has virtually no chance, had there not been a layoff), and act like you can judge a person's fitness level.
