For those who are new to the forum or enjoy trolling these threads, the respect you’re seeing from those who have been here a long time is because Vanzack’s value to this forum isn’t limited to just posting winners. He’s probably the single greatest poster when it relates to his willingness to share info and teach. Across multiple forums he has consistently been willing to share information and engage with others who want to learn. The amount of idiots on Blankets hasn’t changed over the years - what has changed is the amount of guys willing to post picks and teach.

The best of the best no longer exist here. Some burned out, some went tout (and failed) and others just moved on. Van has been of of the best posters on this site since it launched 20+ years ago. It would take paragraphs to talk through what he has contributed to various forums. And that doesn’t even take into consideration he carries one of the best posted historic win/loss unit records of anyone on this site. Period. Full stop. 

This post isn’t meant to say new members should bow down, but moreso to say pause a beat before you talk shit or educate him because you’re truly missing the big picture and come across as absolute dumbasses to those of us who have been here a long time. 

It was a response to OP with some tongue-in-cheek sarcastic humor on his reference to God.  Had nothing to do with you buddy.

”Feud continued”. This speaks volumes.  People come here to talk shop, post thoughts but ultimately for those that have been here for decades, it’s a community. Vanzack has been doing this since the inception of covers (as Bator pointed out) and I’ve been here for it all.

Two smart people can agree to disagree. Just shut the fuk up and keep it moving rather than beating a dead horse. Say what you want to say but Vanzack contributes a ton to this forum and has for a long time. And this comes from someone who contributes less than both of you - I stopped posting picks a decade ago. Just let it rest.

Stop betting and spend time networking, working on your resume and adding skills. If you’re a CS major and worth your weight in salt, you shouldn’t be wasting your life driving an Uber to fund your sports betting hobby. Now it’s assumes you want to actually use your degree and build a career but reassess where you’re spending your time and what the return is. 

If you do keep betting tho, please post it for the rest of us and make sure to bump the thread often.
