WKU has been able to score this year and the only reason this total is as low as it is, is because WKU failed to score 60 points last game. However, they missed 11 layups, 11! if they convert just half of those, they get into the 70's again. this game will be back and forth with no defense and plenty of offense. North Carolina -22 not a lot of explanation here...UNC is better in every single aspect of the game. there is nothing chaminade will be able to do to keep up with UNC. Roy Williams is an ego maniac and win by 17 will feel like a loss, look for unc not to call of the dogs until very late in this game. good luck to all Congrats all backers. Not sure if I have anymore tonight

Marquette/USC over 132.5 I think that marq dominates this game but USC will stick around just enough so that marq can't call off the dogs. another one that is not easy to cap. both teams looked terrible yesterday and neither gave their opponent much of a game. texas has more length and more athletic ability which should be a factor all game. they struggled from the free throw line yesterday but if you are counting on them shooting 57% from there again, it just wont happen. texas has some play makers, they simply sleep walked into a situation and got beat. usc on the other hand, knew their opponent was tough, prepared for the game, and got ran out of the gym by 30. its one thing to overlook and opponent and get beat, its another to prepare for an opponent and be embarassed. usc is not ready to put together two halves, which is something they will have to do against a texas team with coach barnes who has pride and will want to show the basketball community that yesterday was a fluke. this is a bad time to get this texas team. good luck to all |

im on the over...Chen has not pitched well against the yanks....the yankees bats are heating up....Pettite has only had 3 starts since coming off the DL. In Pettites past, it has taken him a lot longer than that to get in a groove.

Washington -110
Its that time of the year again for one team to get hot at the end of the baseball season and ride that hot streak all the way to the World Series. We saw it happen last year with the Cardinals and some experts beleived they were witnessing the same thing when the Cards took down a popular World Series pick in Atlanta. However, that steam engine cooled down yesterday when they were defeated by Gio Gonzalez and the Nationals 3-2. Up next for the Cardinals is Jaime Garcia, a crafty lefty with playoff experience. On deck for the Nationals, Jordan Zimmerman, a young gun whose last playoff game he pitched came in college at the Division III regionals. Both lineups have had some degree of success against these two hurlers. The nats lineup is a lifetime 8-18 (.444) off Garcia with 2 HR's 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. The cards lineup is a lifetime 12-28 (.428) with 4 XBH 3 walks and 4 strikeouts. While those numbers are a little skewed because the sample size is so small, there really is not definate winner in that matchup. However, when you look at this year and the way these two pitchers have performed, there isnt a slight edge, there is a major edge and it goes to WASHINGTON. Garcia comes in with a 7-7 record but more telling he has pitched in 20 games and the cards are 8-12 in those game. He has throw 9 of those games at Busch, where the game is being played tonight, and has recorded a very modest 5-4 record. On the flip side Zimmerman comes in with a 12-8 record but the nats are 21-11 when he starts and an astounding 11-5 when he starts on the road. The value here is undeniable and to get the Nationals at -110 is an absolute steal. good luck to all |
