Cubs -150
- Cubs hit leftys better than they do rightys - Cubs have a better bullpen (especially at home) - Cubs at home are much better on the year than white sox are on the road - Interleague play most likely will give a slight advantage to the NL team - Rodon (a rookie) walks at a extremely high rate and has only been averaging 5 innings a game, look for their bullpen to step in early and it won't get any better than that. - Kendrick presents decent home stats. |

Both pitchers looking really terrible in previous starts. Chavez does have career numbers for the yankees but you can't really look too deep into that. Yankees are stacking leftys vs him. Tanaka has also let up 6 home runs in his past 3 starts and with a shorter wall for leftys this game can go either way. As well as adding Andrew Miller going 30 pitches deep in his first game back from DL, I would be surprised to see him. Both bullpens are pretty bad outside of Betances who also let up the game winning HR 2 days ago. Don't think you can safely take -150 Yanks just based on odds.

Orioles rolling out a ton of random scrub hitters, and Chris Davis is playing RF and batting #2? Theres no reason to chase a -130 team with an average road record at best especially when they have been hitting way off. The only plus side I see to choosing them is a slightly better bullpen.

Matt Moore lacking control in his return and chris young a rather good pitchers vs righties( which rays mostly consist of) as well as Tampa as a team is close to last in runs avg vs righties. Why follow rays in this one?

Rangers Moneyline and the Under8.5
Lets start out with Texas's pitcher Yovani Gallardo who has not let up an earned run through through his past 4 starts in which he let up around 4 hits and went 7 innings on average each time. On the year he has kept both sides of the plate batting under .275 and .250 wobas(weighted on base average). He holds a record of 5-11 over/unders on the year. He also holds a ridiculous 8-1 career record with 1.98 era and 1.049 hip vs Arizona. Moving on to Robbie Ray, A lefty pitcher, who although hasn't be the best, definitely isn't a complete gas can and hold his own vs Texas. Texas slightly less effective vs lefties compared to righties is averaging 3.7 runs. I would put the game as a 5-2 or a 4-2 if I had to guess the outcome.

Mariners struggle against righties... the team strategy is basically hope for some players to get on base so nelson cruz can hit a homerun. And agreed Taijuan Walker is garbage. Trevor Bauer isn't exactly a sure thing either but at -105 or better CLE > SEA

Something clicked with the team within the past month or so. Take a look at their line up almost everyone is batting close to .300 ba and almost all of them have power as well. Just well rounded team where the bottom of the line up looks just as good as the top. Also when they were struggling in the earlier innings Heston the pitcher even hit a double into right field.

When your team is only run supporting you 3 runs and its tied you don't bring him back in for the 7th. The Yankees just have too much pride and ignorant confidence in C.C because hes been with the club so long.

Hamiliton has't exactly been a bright star in his few games back either. I don't think rangers should be such dogs the way their are swinging the bat vs lefties.

Grabbing -110 Yanks tonight.
C.C. has been below average this season but able to pitch towards lefties much better then righties(Vogt and Reddick could struggle). A's also 2-10 vs lefties sporting .263 woba which is 29th in the league. Yankees coming off a sweep outscoring the royals by double digits and smashing righties on the year. Graveman looks terrible and specifically against lefties which the yankees primarily roll out. Line ups aren't out yet but assuming they rollout the usuals -110 looks good.

Leoynis Martin not in the line up and nick martinez is shady, his good w/l doesn't reflect his true pitching ability. Only true factor backing TEX is their ability to hit lefty pitchers.

So is the update from 11am this morning untrue/old that Rick Carlsie is expecting Rondo to play game 3?

Burton Albion -1 +127
Game is free money not even joking. Win helps them lock in promotion, they are at home vs 21st place who really aren't playing for anything. Burton has also had success earlier in the year on the road against them with a red card winning 4-3.
