Your choice, no big deal either way but it'd be nice to keep you included on the weekly tracking report. Thank you CapReport . I will most definitely start keeping track of my record again. Just been really busy and the losses have me frustrated. I appreciate all of the work you do keep up the good work. I’ll be on the recap next week BOL, WhiteWidow

Can't break this slump. Luckily there is two plays on tonight's card I love: CHA +5.5 1u: Wrong team favored in this one. Pacers are on a 5-game win streak which has the public all over them, but those wins are deceiving, and the streak is not as impressive as it sounds. The wins came against the Cavs, a Clippers team that was depleted after the trade deadline, the Lakers, the Pels who were missing 5 of their 6 top scorers, and the Heat. The Hornets have continually talked about making the playoffs, so I am pretty confident we'll get a good effort out of them tonight. The 5.5 points is just a bonus. MIN -3.5: Desperate for a win, at home, and getting key players back against a team that I think has been overvalued lately, and only laying 3.5 points? I'll take it. BOL, WhiteWidow |

Sunday: POR -4 1u Dallas’ defense was top 10 before the trade, but I am pretty confident it will not remain that way. I think we will see that for the first time tonight, and expect Portland to score at least 115. The blazers are hovering around the top-10 in most all defensive and offensive efficiency metrics, so it is not the idea matchup for a Dallas team trying to find its identity. Blazers roll to a relatively easy dub. BOL, WhiteWidow

Happy Friday everyone. My record is a perfect example of why money management is key. I should be down 4 or 5 units with that record. But being extremely selective with my 2u bets has kept me in the green, even if just barely.
Had some things happen yesterday and didn't have the energy to post on here. I hit LAL +8 but obviously won't count that towards my record. Loving tonight's card and already have one locked in:
SAC -2.5 1u

A little insight on my Bulls pick:
The Pels have been missing 5 of their top 6 scorers and will still missing all except possibly Randle who is a gametime decision. I think the Bulls, specifically players like Kris Dunn, Zach Lavine, and Robin Lopez will have too much pride to lose to what is basically a G league team. Add in the fact that the Bulls haven’t won a home game since December 21st and I think we see a very motivated Chicago team tonight. At -1.5 we are basically betting on a win. Like this one a lot. BOL either way, WhiteWidow

LOCKING IN:
CHA +4.5 1u With Dallas’ roster depleted from the recent trade, I think the wrong team might favored in this one, and 4.5 points is definitely too many. The Mavericks boasted a tough defense that was top-10 in the league before the trade, but now have to replace DeAndre Jordan, Wesley Matthews, and Dennis Smith Jr - the first two being very respected defensive players and DSJ not bad either. They are replaced by Tim Hardway Jr and Courtney Lee, neither of which is known to be an exceptional defender. Further, there is a team aspect to defense, and I expect some communication issues (as you would with any new team). Charlotte has been pretty good offensively lately, is deep enough to perform well on the second leg of a B2B, and is getting 4.5 points? I’ll take it, as I know they want to bounce back after last nights let down. BOL, WhiteWidow

Yesterday: 1-3 -2.11u
YTD: 25-25-1 +1.01u One of the most frustrating nights of betting I’ve had in a while. Hornets had a 20 point lead in the 2nd half and blew it because LA shot 18-24 on 3 point attempts... The Pistons and Knicks had a 117 point first half and followed it with an 80 point 2nd half to ruin my over. We’ll get it back though. Wednesday Leans: CHA +5: With the Dallas roster depleted after the trade, I’m not sure they should even be favored in this one, much less by 5 points. This one isn’t available on my site yet, but if it truly opens at the +5 or +4.5 that I’m seeing, I’ll have to take it. CHI PK: This one all depends on the status of Mirotic(Doubtful) and Randle(questionable). If both are out, the Pels will be missing 5 of their top 6 scorers again, and I’ll be on the Bulls. DEN/BKN under 233: If Jamal Murray is out I like this one a lot. Denver has a good defense and the Nets are depleted from injuries. Will have to dig into the numbers a lot more but at first glance this seems high. Be back later to lock in. BOL, WhiteWidow

This one seems a bit low considering the first matchup between the two went for 231 points. I think the low line is due to recency bias. The Blazers have been able to hold opponents to low scores lately, but when you look at the numbers its hard to give them credit for that. They have played:
Utah (21st in PPG) Atlanta (19th in PPG) Phoenix (23rd in PPG)
Miami has a lot of depth at the guard and wing positions and that is where Portland struggles to defend. On the other hand, I think the total is being brought down due to the Heat's recent struggles to score, but it is easy to understand why they would have a hard time putting up points against the Pacers and Thunder - two of the best defenses in the league. This one goes over.

I feel you. I respect that a lot more than someone who just blindly tails others.
I haven't locked in POR over yet. Only thing that worries me is I think the line is fishy. In the first game the line was set at 221, they went for 231, and now in the second game the line is 211.5?? Seems like the books want action on the over.
