___They must of been bunkered down for a while then AB. Something doesn`t seem right to me with this price..Even with Mullen out,the knights were still winning albeit they had Gidley there but little has changed from the squad last over the last few weeks .Hilder ain`t no rug rat and the Knights are on a streak. Now even though they have only won one game at home this year I still think this game is not as lopsided as the pubic fink..I`m with ya Battler..Going against the me pussycats and hitting the homies as to help balance the books a smidgen... BOL this weekend Battler and to all in sundry...

The Newcastle injury list is getting pretty long. Mullen, De Gois, Mad Dog, McDonnell, Tuimavave (he's done for the year), McManus, Taia et al. Throw in Wicks and Houston and you have half a first grade side.
But I think tonight sets up nicely for Newcastle to have one last big crack as they have the bye after origin. They are 1-3 at home, but really should've been 4-0 or 3-1 at worst given they blew a decent lead in the Melbourne game and had no right losing the Penrith or GC games. I know woulda, coulda, shoulda stands for shit in Monday's paper, but this team could easily be 7-3 and in the top 4.
Paterson has been asked by the coach for one last big effort tonight - he played just 11 games last year - five of those off the bench, but will line up tonight for his 11th straight start and has played all but 18 minutes in 2010. He is nursing several niggles and will be given a couple of extra days break from training next week.
I just think that a win here would be massive for them, without Gidley and at home heading into the bye. Surely that can't be lost on Rick Stone.
Surely
