The dogs manly line really struck at me....When I saw the match up, I honestly thought the Dogs would be around $2.20. But basically even? Cmon...
Manly are 3 from 4, lost one game by 2 points and blasted everyone else. They are fully healthy and have everyone on deck.
My dogs have been struggling, they have had a tough draw except for the Eels game which they JUST won.
Our lineup is very unsettled, we are missing our best ball player, Kasiano as well as Graham and now INU is out.
Lafai comes in, he hasn't played 1st grade in a year, while he looked very very good before he suffered his injury last year, we lose a lot in Inu, goal kicking, defense and X factor,
This to me looks like a case of reading the line, $1.95 looks really strange if you ask me, really strange. It seems to me that the books want people to bite Manly at a very good price,. Homebush isn't even a proper home ground for us compared to a Brooky, Leichardt, Knights, Suncorp etc etc.

Lucky, this comp is not about which teams have the better players, its about attitude and consistency of that attitude.
Lets take 1 extreme example, the storm, this team just cares more than anyone else. They play every week as if their lives depend on it. They have good players, but they also have the best attitude out of everyone.
Parra are the other end, they also have some good players, but they just don't care as much as other teams, they slacken off.
If each Parra player was offered $1mill cash if they beat the storm, I will guarantee everyone they would beat the storm, or go extrodinarily close to it.
This league is all about desire, attitude and motivation. That's all it is.

No, what the league is all about depends on what kind of mood you're in.
It's crooked, corrupt, & completely rigged when you're carrying on like a six year old throwing a tantrum and it's about desire, motivation and attitude ect when you're medicated and calm.

The Manly line looks really suspicious to me, really suspicious....I honestly would have thought the Dogs would $2.20-30....They haven't done anything this year, in reality we should have lost to Parra, yet we are pretty much even with Manly? Line stinks or the books are giving away a free gift.....Rarely that's happens.

Rostos, you're giving the Aussie bookies too much credit, they are not as sharp as their overseas counterparts. Dogs were 2 bucks against the Bunnies (who are a better side than Manly), people are still high on them after last year's heroics and Barba's return only adds to that. Hasler as coach brings in the punters as well. These same bookies made the Cows a bigger than a converted try favorite in NZ, I also tried to read into the line a little much. Folks are gonna chase on the Dogs til they win.
If the Dogs were $2.20 at Brooky I'd consider a wager on them based on the line but a $1.90 at ANZ is a fair spread. Manly are the away team...

Roosters licking the wooden spoon to Grand Final dancers in one season after Carney came in and changed the attitude of the club speaks volumes to this. He left and right back down to punching the Plodders over who gets back to licking...

Now that Dogs line is looking a little odd given the latest withdrawals. Manly have been beating relative 'creampuffs' whilst Canterbury have been facing a 'murderers row' of 'contenders'...

I'll take that as sarcasm?
Line is off but as you say, Aussie books aren't necessarily that 'sharp'.
Except for the TeeAyeBee of course
