If it ends up being a massive breach the Storm will have to get stripped more then there NRL points and end up in the minus

these betting agencies know more than we all do

To suspend betting, or have the storm at 6/1 for the spoon tells me that we are looking at more than just 8 points!

There are teams in the Top 8 on 6 pts, so losing only 8pts wouldnt make you all of sudden a chance at the spoon - especially as its Melbourne.

Ace, even of they lose 8, they will still make the 8 - GUARANTEED.

Unless they strip them of like 20 points, then they are a big chance for the spoon....

I never said anything about the Storm not making the 8 if they only lose 8 points.


I said the betting being suspended and the 6/1 price for the sppon with certain agencies suggests they will lose more then 8 points

oh, ok, yeah u can read into price big time.........

Gees, they must have breached it pretty heavy u would think.....

Inglis, Smith, Slater and Cronk would have to be on MASSIVE money, considering the rest of the team is pretty much average players apart from maybe Hoffman, White and Manu...

Sportingbet Australia chief executive Michael Sullivan said the wooden-spoon bets set off alarm bells as the Storm were favourites for the premiership.

"We took three bets to win $10,000 and another to win $8000 on the Storm for the Wooden Spoon all within 10 minutes of each other this morning," Sullivan said.

Probably the same punters who had a plunge at the Broncos to win the wooden spoon a few years back after hearing rumosr of a salary cap breach.
