IF the rain doesnt impact on overs and unders, then WHY
do the bookmakers wait until a few hours before the game to post there overs unders as opposed to when it is a dry clear forecast they post it the night before?
Just an answer will do.

Rain and Unders for NRL totals are a myth. Huge myth. I've been saying that for the last few years.
With rain, there is more chance of handling errors etc.
Whereas a sport like AFL, unders are a good play because it's fast paced and handling errors occur on nearly every second possession.
In Rugby taking unders because it rains is not the thing to do.

Bolar what u are saying is at odds with what i see from bookmakers.
As i said, the bookmakers when there is rain around, wait till the last possible moments before setting the line.
It is generally the bookmakers best interest to have lines available as long as possible before the event to attract as much business on the event.
IF, weather has NO impact on overs and unders, then why arent the lines out on Tuesday when all the other markets are out.
You still havent answered the question why this is the case...

Yes, i ASSUME the bookmakers make when setting overs unders just look at avg points scored and avg points conceeded during the season of the teams playing.
I am sure this figure doesnt change from tuesday to friday, so why do they delay it till the last possible few hrs?

"I was just trying to put the ball in play. It was just luck," Vazquez said.

Of course weather doesnt mean an automatic under, otherwise why the f### would have a market....?

All what my point is that weather impacts overs and unders.
Thats all.
If it is raining in a game and they set the total to 10.5, then of course it is going to f### go over........

They set the Roosters Dragons game at 32.5 last week.
If it was a bright sunny day, it would be 38.5-40.5
But then again, i have seen over 60 points scored in a game which you could hardly see the players it is raining that hard.
