tonight i feel the panthers are a very good chance against the broncos and possibly got a rough deal against the storm by the refs in their close loss last week. but unfortunately i really like the favs here and must stay with the broncos. the broncos were good last week even though they failed to put together a full 80 min performance and cost me when they went to sleep and gave up the cover with 15 to go. for this reason i am not risking them to cover instead i will take them su. i admit that i like the panthers here to put up a good fight but i hate taking the points, i much prefer to pick a winner and decide if they cover.

the knights have been playing well lately and i would have had more confidence in them winning had this one been at home. i beleive that manly can win this game by a lot more than 5.5 but we will play it safe.
the bunnies last monday night looked hopeless against the dogs and were lucky to not lose 13+. the y lack structure and if their ad lib attack doesn't work they struggle.
Manly needs this win even more than they needed last weeks win. i thought they looked alot more comfortable last week with their attacj now that stewart is back it gives them a lot more speed in their attack and i love the bomb coming down on the try line with stewart in full flight. if manly is what everyone expected them to be this season (a top 4 team) they need to leave their pathetic start to the season in round 4 and get their premiership campaign underway.

oh yeah and i forgot to mention the obvious the dogs are in great form. they may have backed off a little last week and let the bunnies make a game of what should have been a 13+ victory, but this week i expect a similar performance with the eels struggling to get points on the board until late in the game

Warriors -5 (@ $1.72) i am giving up some juice on this one but increasing the stake by a smigen to ge the overall return i like of a bout 2:1
Should be a good game this afternoon, the warriors retuning home after a loss in newcastle last week. the warriors are also blessed witht the return of their capatin steve price. After 2 rounds of football all teh talk was of a top 4 warriors team, a team that could even go all the way in 09. following the first two rounds they have spiralled into the bottom half of the ladder with 3 straight losses. this is the game when they turn it around and the home field advantage should be enough to get the job done.
i am not expecting a blow out in the scores and this is why i am giving up some juice to stay within a converted try.
the roosters will be hungry themselves for a win showing last week against the broncos that even when well beaten with 15 to go they will still dig in and play out the whole 80 mins (even if it does cost honest punters liekmyself the cover). that is to say the roosters are anything special, they came home strong last week against a lazy brisbane side who will sooner or later be caught out for not punishing their opposition once they rack up a solid lead.
imo the roosters are inconsitant and unpredictable (if their is a difference) i cannot pick them and almost passed ont he game because of their inconsitancy. one week they get flogged the next they hand one out and then follow it up by getting their arses handed back to them.
this bet has nothing to do with the roosters, its about a the warriors finding their feet at home and getting back to their early winning ways. they no they must win today or they are 2-4 with a two game road trip against two of the better sides in the nrl, melbourne and the dragons. not a good place to be after round 8 2-6.
