Well have got the season off to a good start, lets hope can keep the train rolling. As i said at the end of last weeks thread i am away from tomorrow for the weekend on golf trip. I will do my best to post plays but they will be limited as have had limited time this week to research games and plays. With that in mind do still like some of the games this week.
Picks:
Broncos +6.0 5 units @ $1.90
Really like them tomorrow night at home in front of what should be a big crowd for 2 of the better teams this year going at it. It could be a small let down spot for the Chooks after the 2nd half they had last week and now on the road. Broncos are the kind of team that very rarely gets blown out and for that reason have to go with the points. As they showed last week they can get the job done with the game on the line as in week 1. This is a trait they just could not find last year.
Saints -4.5 5 units @ $1.90
Saints come in off to great performances and the sharks are depleted with injury. Saints should get up and win by the 13+ margin and depending on how things pan out i may have a dig at that line as well. They have been impressive to open the season and are only going to get better with time to gel and the return of Dugan at FLB in a few weeks. Sharks had nothing on attack last week and can not see that changing with Carney returning to the fold as there is no body around him really to help. They are just missing to many key players.
Cowgirls/Warriors Over 44.5 5 units @ $1.90
This should be a track meet. Cowgirls should have no issue putting points on the poor warriors at home. The conditions for this game should be perfect and make for a lot of open running footy late in the game. Just has that feeling about it that should go over. Warriors are 2-0 on overs and cowgirls are 1-1 but Broncos/cowgirls games tend to be low scoring so do not let that scare you off.
