NRL/Super Rugby competition other than regular season activity

Question

I read an article about a week ago where the player reps from
the Super Rugby teams proposed that they play all other games
(Lions tour etc) after the regular Super Rugby season is over.
It is being taken under advisement. Thought this might be a good
idea for the Origin series also. Play them after the NRL regular
season is over...comments appreciated.

NO way mate. By the end of the season a lot of the key players who have been a little injuried and played on need that time to rest. The quality of SOO would be to low.Leave both the way they are

Good point...however...take GI for the Rabbithos ....lost for rest
of season...also other top players get injured in Origin and then
cannot play regular season games....Fans and teams lose out...
I guess it would be up to the fans and players to decide whether
regular season games are more important than the special events.
