As AB said, of NSW limit their errors they will win. Two plays early on would havce changed things: Morris losing the ball on the first tackle when they made the break down the sideline, and the Count (that was his last Origin game) dropping the ball when through half a hole. From then on, QLD was relentless, driving NSW deep into their own half, with 3-4 tacklers everytime to slow the ball (NSW mainly tackled with 2 players) and eventually the weight of possession and field position wore them down. If thye could have got some field position from these two tiems they lost the ball, then the game would have been different.
Give QLD some kudos that they executed the tries really well, albeit with some help from more mistakes by NSW who dropped the ball and gave it back to them as Minichiello did. Once again with limited possession, NSW did well to score the points they did. Anyway, QLD got the result they wanted, the fairy tale has a happy ending, except for Thurston (poor bloke to cop an injury like that - ouch!)
