You're the one who sounds ridiculous. Do you know why the Yankees don't win the world series? Because of the names Burnett, Colon, Garcia and Hughes. Why are Philly favourites? because of the names Halliday, Lee, Oswalt and hamels. Why are pitchers listed in the prices? Why are listed pitchers not started no action? How many pitches per game would Jeter have an impact on? How many pitchers per game would the starter have an impact on?

CC Sabathia will earn nearly 10 million more then Roy Halladay this season, yet career and 2010 stats say the opposite should be true. Tim Lincecum has won 2 Cy Youngs and a World series, yet will earn less then half of John Lackey

Matt Holliday will earn more this year then his team mate Albert Pujols, and both will earn less then carlos Beltran will for the Mets

yeh, baseball salaries are efficient and realistic indicator of talent
