Hamburg usually doesn't play well for 32 games in a year of Bundesliga. But there are 2 times a year when they do play well - against Borussia Dortmund. I don't know why, but it seems like a special relationship between these two teams. Dortmund couldn't win the last three of four games against Hamburg.
Hamburg is 18th in the league with 2 points and 1 scored goal. They are in another deep crisis. But im almost sure they will surprise somehow. Dortmund is really in trouble and they need a win desperately. That's why I don't really like picking a side. But Hamburg+1 might be a good choice, too. I think they will score at least a goal against Dortmund.
Hamburg Team Total Over 0.75 (-117) - 2,5 Units
Frankfurt vs. Köln
Köln really struggles to score this year, but I think this streak will come to an end against Frankfurt. Frankfurt comes off a last minute win against Hamburg, Köln has lost their last two matches (agains Bayern and Hannover). I don't think they are a bad team, they just lack of offensive power. I think it will change against a Frankfurt team that can be satisfied after the last 2-3 games. Köln is due for a successful weekend and at least a goal.
Köln Team Total Over 1 (-115) - 2 Units
Adding:
Paderborn TT Over 0.75 (-112) - 1 Unit
Hoffenheim TT Over 1.5 (-114) - 1 Unit
As you can see, I really like some Overs for Saturday. I think all of these matches could go Over. That's why I will try something for tomorrow.
Saturday BL Matches (6) Total Goals Over 19 (+103) - 1 Units
Good luck to the forum

I was looking at Dortmund ML to add in a parlay, you talked me out of it now.
You think Leverkusen gets it done against Paderborn?
I don't think there's any value in taking Dortmund ML. As always, the line is completely inflated and doesn't show the real picture. Hamburg played better the last couple of games (0-0 against Bayern two weeks ago). Dortmund played terribly in the Bundesliga and they have problems with teams that focus on defending. Hamburg will try the same that Stuttgart did last week. They will be disciplined in defense and try their luck with counter attacks. Dortmund might win, but taking them at these odds - no way. I expect a close game.
Leverkusen should win their game somehow. Maybe 2-1 or 3-1. But with the problems in Leverkusens defense, I have to take Paderborn to score. The only home team that I like tomorrow (and that has some value) is Hoffenheim. I can't see them losing against Schalke. GL with whatever you choose, icemantbi

the recent Hamburg / Dortmund matches have been high scoring...would you consider the over in that match too ?
Everything can happen in this game - from a wild 5:2 to a boring 1-1. It all depends on how anxious Hamburg will play and how early the first goal will be scored. The O/U is quite high at almost 3.5. I think if it goes Over Hamburg will have to contribute. And I think they do and score at least once. That's why I think the Hamburg team total is the easiest choice (we already win half if they score once). Hamburg's offense is not as bad as the numbers show.

Usually I don't bet on the second German league because it's really hard to predict anything in this league. Teams are inconsistent and all the teams are on a similar quality level. But I think tonight there's really a match with some value.
Heidenheim comes off two impressive wins against Bochum (5-0) and Nürnberg (3-0). They are absolutely on fire and should have a lot of confidence, even though they play on the road. I can't bet against this Heidenheim team at the moment.
Leipzig is definitely a little bit overrated. They have a lot of potential and quality, but it's not like they would walk through this league without problems. I don't even think they will finish in the Top 3 - at least this year. Today two of their best players are questionable (Poulsen and Demme). That could be another factor in favor of Heidenheim.
These teams played last year in the third league against each other. Leipzig won in Heidenheim 2-0 and the second game ended 1-1. I really don't see a huge gap between them and with the confidence of Heidenheim, I expect a 0-0 or 1-1. Heidenheim might even take the three points. I will also play the Draw for some money, but the pick for today is:
Heidenheim +0.5 (+100) - 1.5 Units

Great job on the weekend Dirk, however tonight I have to go against you. Interesting how we both incorporate the same factors but tend to interpret them differently, let's see how this will all play out tonight.
