brazil v venezuela:  Unsure if the full severity of the health crisis hitting the Venezuelan camp is understood.  they are doing last minute call ups and one can only assume there will be poor communication and little to no familiarity amongst the starting xi.  a look at recent history between these two sides shows tight and competitive games, but that Venezuela is not going to be remotely like the one playing today. 

It's a question of how motivated Brazil are to be playing these games given the pandemic situation.  That said, a few things are worth a punt...

-Brazil to score a penalty @ 3.00

-Venezuela card handicap -1.5 @ 2.05

-Brazil -2.50 @ 1.9

I like the under 3½ here. I'm just worried a Brasil 2nd stringer going rogue and scoring that 3rd or 4th goal.

Colombia v Ecuador:

the lineup for colombia has a few changes from their game played on Thursday vs Argentina.  ecuador dropped their last game vs peru and while that may explain why colombia are even money, i'm leaning towards a draw.  motivation is pretty neutral on this tourney for all sides, and both teams may be happy to start with a point.

Paraguay v Bolivia:  the talisman for Bolivia, Martins, is out.  it's going to be a challenge for bolivia to score

Paraguay win to nil @ 2.0

the 1x2 price on paraguay is not great but playable in a parlay

 I think you're right. I like Paraguay Over 1.0 goals. 

Yeah, I could see the game ending 2-0 but the total is reflecting that too...it’s at 2.25.  I’d probably take the over as the game could hit 2-0 with 20-30 minutes to go.

well, here's a classic South American game, two penalty shouts, one awarded.  then a string of yellows and red card for bolivia, oh and 8+ minutes of 1st half stoppage.

Haha...so true.  8 minutes of added time in the first half due to VAR stopages.

Bolivia should have been down to 9 men at halftime due to red cards.   

Paraguay were pinging the posts, hitting the inside the keepers legs, everything but scoring a goal for the longest time. True CONMEBOL style...

The game may have Messi, Cavani, Suarez, and Aguero playing at the same time.  Not sure about a result but it feels like both teams can find the net here, and we get a playable total.

similar to barneybeans, i'm thinking Venezuela has got a better chance than odds imply.

Liking Venezuela again.  Team hasn't played since last Sunday and Soteldo joined the squad midweek.  He'll be a big boost to their attack.
