Russia v Saudi Arabia
The opening match of the world cup. Everyone will be watching this match so you know the players will be up for the spectacle giving us their best. The past 6 opening games of the World cup all but one team failed to score. 3 of the 6 went over 2.5 goals. Unlike the books I see an open game as both teams will be eager to pick up points. The Saudis do not play a park the bus style and I expect them to score. Form wise 3 of the past 5 games for both sides finished with 3 or more goals.Hoping for an entertaining star.

.. I think that might piss of Real players like Ramos, Isco etc. It is Spain still so I expect plenty of possession. The guy taking care of Spain Hierro did calm the team in the 2010 WC when they lost their first game vs the Swiss, but I don't think the players need the drama. Head to head these sides have tied 6 of their past 10 meetings & I think neither side would be too disappointed with that result
