It's been a little while since I've posted my picks. Took a little break, and then when I got back into things, between life, work, family, and putting in wagers, it was tough to consistently come on here and post, so while making picks never stopped, I took a break from here. Going to make a better effort now as life has settled down.

Benfica [+0.5] | +100 (1u to win 1u)
Benfica has struggled to find consistency in their form this season, but make no mistake about it, this side has more overall talent than they did last season. Biggest problem is they lost a few key pieces to the puzzle, and along with new faces, there have also been some injuries which have made it difficult for Roger Schmidt to play a core XI consistently. Sociedad on the other hand had a great season last year, and have in some ways continued that this season. They did go to Lisbon a few weeks ago, and came away with a fairly comfortable 0-1 win, but Benfica's Champions League hopes are hanging on by a thread. Benfica needs a result here, if not to still dream with the knockout stage, at least to keep the hopes alive for a 3rd place finish, and the Europa League.
They've switched to a back three formation in the last two games, and it's expected to remain today. Gives them more coverage at the back, and allows them to fill the midfield, opposed to having their midfield two who was struggling to grab hold of games.
I like Benfica to get something from today's match.
Napoli [Win & Over 1.5] | -155 (2u to win 1.29)
Union Berlin are in a free-fall. Winless after 3 matches in the Champions League, and domestically, an absolute nightmare. Has the cinderella story fizzled out a bit? I'd say so. If anything, the German side need to focus on the domestic league more than UCL, which is a very long shot given their overall form. Napoli should take this comfortably. There have been over 1.5 goals in all of Napoli's official home matches this season (6), and I don't expect that to change today.
