America: 1-1-1 at home this season.
They beat Pachuca (#8 overall on table) two weeks ago (Week # 7) .
They tied Toluca (# 7 overall on table) on week # 2.
They lost to Tigres (current champ and #2 overall on table) on week # 5.

Jaguares: 0-4 away this season.
Lost to Monterrey (#4 overall on table) on week # 1.
Lost to Santos (#3 overall on table) on week # 3.
Lost to Cruz Azul (# 9 overall on table) on week # 5.
Lost to Toluca (# 7 overall on table) on week # 7.

America struggled out of the gate at home for some reason, but they won their last game there and a week after, went and crushed Atlante (#11 overall on table) 4-0 in Cancun.  They are on a 2 win streak and if they win at home today, they could jump from their # 5 overall position on the table to the # 2 overall.

Jaguares on the other hand, has scored an abismal 2 goals on 4 tries away from home and they are sitting at # 12 overall with 3 wins, 0 draws, and 5 losses.  Those 3 wins:  

Chivas (# 16 overall)
Gallos Blancos (# 18 overall <-- nicer term for "dead last")
Estudiantes (#17 overall)

Going with the better team at home and paying the juice:

America -155 vs Jaguares: 12.4 Units to win 8.00

you know what i liked the america pick but i didnt go all out with putting alot units for their action.  I asked myself is AMERICA the 2nd best team in mexico right now and i said hell no.  so the scary part of it is if they win they will have as you mentioned 18 points but i know i dont see them as the 2nd best.  BENITEZ can win em all and americas defense is doing its best to win these 1-0 games.  i hope they win cause im on them with you but i just know the numbers might say it but they not.  one this taht is true is  jaguares is the 12th team overall which makes me feel good

i took toluca.  loss 2 units.  the over toluca. lost 2 untis
chivas ML 2 units over CHIVAS 2 units
america two units ML under 4 units
chivas first half ML 1 units.  chivas FIRST HALF over 1 untis
