 The thing about the Mexican leagues, many of the owners are actually mobsters, made their money through corruption and black market, drugs, etc. A good example is the owner of Xolos Tijuana! That guy works with drug cartels, gambling, black market, money laundering, etc! Many other owners do the same. You can be a high level politician in Mexico and not work or corporate with cartels! Drug smuggling is a $100 billion business! Everyone, including the president, and many US border patrol officers, get a cut! That’s just how it is! Many use soccer/football teams as a way to wash their their drug and black market money as well. It’s a sad situation.
