hey Boll, (humor) thanks buddy. giving our main rival exactly what they need (Ericksen), ive placed this turn of events squarely on your shoulders. and to honor/dedicate............... im moving these first few plays to the top of thy wknd card here. enjoy (toilet flushing in background)
Scotland: tailing
Hamilton/Livingston over 2.5 @+120
Dundee/Morton over 3 @+115
(joking aside, $8mil per year? Conte really wanted him)
interesting wknd coming up. we'll see if the soccer gods are kind again.
Roma/Lazio - Derby della Capitale. and a major one. roma with a ton of injuries; though both clubs 3rd match in 7 days Lazio/Inzaghi suprisingly sent out a full strength side in their Coppa match on Wed so it sort of evens things out. and feel Lazios slide is about to start. I like the prices with Darth Vader here; yes they played Juve midweek too but several starters werent there; Lazio not only played a full strength side and lost; but had to play with 10 men nearly 2/3 the match. ive got Lazio in a future to finish ahead of them in the table but guess ill worry about that later. Roma to win @+170, over 7.5 cards @+110 these are always nasty get-togethers.
Torino/Atalanta - suprised at these prices. Bergamo side suddenly slumping & coming off a shock loss on Monday where their shaky defense was exposed. this is one of the worst opponents to have to face as last time they won in Turin was previous decade, and actually have won just twice in past 12 H2H's. Toro are impossible to figure out but if anything, they always get up for the better clubs and think this line is off. Torino +1/2 @+120, and toss some on the outrights @+375
books "smartened up" for this one: 2nd half over 1.5 @-123 because Toro leads Serie A in goals conceded after the hour mark. sort of protecting my butt if theyre leading at the break.
SPAL/Bologna under 2.5 @-108 - yet another derby. SPAL coming off a huge upset beating Atalanta but really struggles to score and Bologna suddenly cant find back of net. past 5 H2H's have just 8 goals total. not sure why this isnt more juiced,
Fiorentina/Genoa - one can look at this two ways: Genoa havent won in Florence in a few decades. with that being said, must also mention 5 of the past 6 meetings here have ended level. but Viola playing much better of late beating Atalanta and giving me a sweet 400+ last wknd going to Naples and winning. the new coach and system have turned things around for them. Genoa is in the cellar for a reason, they cant keep people out of the net & are winless on the road. they lead Serie A in goals conceded (both overall & on road). getting the mini-hammer out for this one. Fiorentina -1 @+135 and toss a little on Fior + over 2.5 @+160 as 8 of their 10 roadies have seen 3+ goals.

Napoli/Juve - uh-oh. concerned about this one all week, for good reason too. nobody in Serie A needs any further motivation whenever Juve comes to town, but Sarri back in Naples, so you can imagine the tinderbox brewing all week long right there. Napoli has had this one circled since summer when the ink dried on his contract, so theyre going to treat this like a UCL-Final & have their ears pinned back. but toss out Coppa and Napoli been in god-awful form which im not going to repeat. Juve simply been firing on all cylinders lately, Christian especially, even our backline is scoring; and one thing most already know in Serie A... Juve hardly ever loses in January coming out of break (have dropped pts just once in past 25 league matches in Jan). when the sched is clear of UCL distractions we dont allow rivals to gain. just feel this is the kind of match where not having Koub back there is really going to hurt Napoli. small play on this because of the prices, nothing more, nothing less. Juve to win @+106 (but would advise not to go crazy on this one) .....Mariani holding the whistle? going to wait closer to Sunday and toss a little on the red card prop, its a-coming.
Inter/Cagliari - drawing Lecce was the upset of the season, lasted 24 hrs till Atalantas major scr*w-up at home. so now they are 4 pts out and need help catching Juve with Lazio on their butts too. Cagliari free-falling, called out their slide and have ridden it. bad spot for them here; these two just played here during Coppa 10 days ago with Inter thumping them 4-1. prices are lousy and its an early start too + Inters new signing might need time to adapt.. theres been 2+ goals after the whistle in last 7 of Cagliari roadies. Inter/Cagliari over 1.5 2nd half @-125.
France:
Lyon/Toulouse - visitors have lost 11 straight, and its been so bad they were even booted from the Cup to a club 3 divisions lower. Lyon playing well since break and have found net 2+ in past 11 H2H's, should roll here.
Lyon -1.5 @-120, Lyon/Toulouse over 3.5 @+120
Turkey:
Galatasaray to win @+110 - fear the draw, but have never lost to this opponent (22+ matches)
Belgium:
Gent/Genk - Genk has won 4 of the past 5 meetings, unbeaten in 5 straight visits, and have actually lost just twice in past 12 H2H's. both sides in similar form. decent value here, Genk +1/2 @+105, outright @+300
have good wknd & GL to all

good luck. been hammering milan lately. team looks so much better after the 4-4-2 and ibra. maybe time to place a top fourth future again. hehe.
I will be on lazio tho this week. prob ml/pick. Roma is in a lot of trouble. cengiz is in form tho. I think a loss here for roma and they will continue to slide. hoping at least. I love your torino pick.

busy week. cant get a new thread up so figured id jump in here and respond. last Sunday went from bad to worse in a hurry.
elpr, torino???
Lego ya could just feel that one coming right after Inter dropped pts earlier in the day. Napoli deservedly won.
gab, pardon, no time this week.
elpr, regarding Milan: (just had a chat on this last wknd)
Milano? CL slot? 8 pts out? firstly, them: forget the Coppa. obviously playing much better with the coaching, new formation, Zlat etc etc. but also....zero locker room distractions thats HUGE. (cant predict if/how long that will continue).but none of that stuff which can tear apart a team; theyre 'winning-while-still-figuring-things-out'. first thing looked at is their schedule (ya cant control injuries so toss that out the window). behind by 8 points means you cant simply think about them winning. you have to look at the chances of their main rivals to DROP points as well. Milan practically gets EVERYBODY Verona, Atalanta, Torino, Calgiari, Parma, Roma even Juve ALL in San Siro --- the clubs directly above them. perhaps toss in the derby with Inter as well. below them, id only be worried about Napoli. take a peek @Atalanta, their "sandwich" spots (@home tho) are vs Roma & Lazio, good luck with that Bergamo. Roma still have the UEL and a season ending two consecutive trips to Turin.
saw wide price range for that 4th slot. i just tossed a little on that myself, got it at 1500 earlier in week, wont hurt the bottom line.
