hi everyone! you may remember me from the liverpool thread. i've decided to start a new thread this season for all my other plays. i'll mostly be doing epl and cl along with a few other leagues here and there. looks like it's already time for my 1st play lol.

pulis just left palace (!!!). arsenal were already looking good to cover anyway imo but this one could get real ugly real fast. get this one in now if you can!

if this was a pk game, then i wouldn't take spurs, but the fact they are favored says it all for me. matchup of teams going in opposite directions at the moment. west ham have boardroom drama and are missing andy carroll and enner valencia while spurs looked fantastic in preseason under pochettino(who i rate very highly). this play will have looked like a bargain by the end of the season(where it will be at least -200!). can put some on spurs -0.75 too as i wouldn't be surprised at a 3-0 ish final score.
United - Swansea over 2.75 -108 - 4 units BTTS +125 - 1 unit
united was flattered by their 2-1 win over valencia, who had two shots cleared off the line. swansea was one of the more attacking teams last season and they will run at the shaky united back line. see a lot of goals both ways here. parlay for fun - United - Swansea over 2.75 -108 + Tottenham +107 - 1 unit
Stoke -102 - 2 units over 2.25 +108 - 1 unit pulis doesn't coach stoke anymore(and palace for that matter too) and stoke have played much better footie under mark hughes. i fancy them to pick up a win with a short line on opening day. they quietly scored a lot of goals in the 2nd half of the season last year and i see it continuing here.
Leicester pk +128 - 1 unit why is this line only a pk? fishy, very fishy! have to get to the bottom of this

could have been even better today, burnley missed a pk and spurs gave up a 85 min equalizer after hitting the crossbar twice and dominating whole game. newcastle i just don't know. lol
i was deciding between under 3 and liverpool 1st half today, chose the wrong one lol. staying away from those liverpool overs until sturridge gets back. they should really start rickie lambert as a 2nd striker in the meantime the attack always looks a lot better with him on !

Another thing I noticed was, Liverpool were unable to get their forwards behind the defense the whole day. Don't have a clue what Balotelli was doing, thought he would have a big game.

indeed. part of it was villa's gameplan (credit to them) and part of it is just liverpool only play well on offense with two strikers. even when sturridge was the lone striker he was noticeably isolated up front, but when they brought on lambert as a second striker in both the city and southampton games they scored almost immediately. both balotelli and sturridge started against spurs and they could have easily scored 5-6 on the day. now with sturridge out they are back to square one. i still think they should just start lambert along with balo until sturridge gets back.

United -1.75 -106 - 2 units United - QPR over 2.75 -127- 4 units over 3 +104 - 1 unit i hate betting united, not just because i'm a liverpool fan, but also because they are a huge public team and you can almost never find value by taking them, especially the last 2 seasons as their reputation greatly exceeds their performance. but i think this game is one of the few exceptions. they are still shaky at the back as jones and smalling are both injured. to me it equals an over. if they don't cover this game they never will this season.
