There's just too many better sports than soccer.
I'm on your side, woop. To hell with this game. Real football is fast approaching.

Not even close! Find me a game where you see a football (real football) player faking an injury and crying and moaning on the ground... even in the rare situation where that is advantageous, late in a game when a team is trying to score quickly, it doesn't happen because there are rules against it... like charged timeouts (or penalties if they don't have one)...
Fix your game, soccer...... that's pathetic!

USA lost this game because of Bradley's idiotic coaching changes, not the flopping of the Ghana box-squad...... however, watching that be the dominating theme for the last 20 minutes of a WC knockout game was what I will ultimately remember about this game more than anything else.

Is it really that hard to stop the clock? Is this some grandfathered rule from the deserts of some third world country where they kept time by the sun? Its called a stopwatch! They cost $2! Surely somebody can afford one!

There are two things they could easily do that would immediately put an end to that kind of bullshit (and by the way, we will be seeing more of it)......
1) Bring back the Golden Goal... at least that was legit, and the game ended on an exciting note!
2) Red Card bullshit flops like the one from the guy (Tinkoom?) who didn't get touched, laid there for 2 minutes, got on a stretcher, then immediately jumps up... that should (definitely) have been a Red Card, and then it's 11 on 10...
You wanna flop, you pay a price!

They allow an advantage to play out so a cheap foul does not take away a scoring opportunity, unlike basketball.

Only if women were playing instead that would push up the ratings for female soccer and the viewers would get see some beaver.
