This was like USA Hockey. I can't stand Hockey but I watched all the games. However...that was so much more entertaining than this. The refs were against USA the entire time. I've seen 3 times. I don't know what the rules are but some of this doesn't seem right.

Take away their goal (maybe the get another opponent if that counts)

After the 90 minutes...there was 3 minutes of extra time. Ghana had possession, the ball goes out of bounds, they get a corner kick, and they wait for the corner kick to be made and the aftermath before the call for overtime.

And then they don't even get the full 3 minutes in the 2nd overtime (extra time). Ghana has the ball but as soon as USA gets possession...game called.

Total and Complete Bullshit.

both sides waited their whole lives for this, and it shouldn't come down to 20 minutes of flopping and acting... it was a fucking embarrassment to the sport... unfortunately, it is what this sport is all about!

guy falls on the ground without being touched... gets on a stretcher... pops up immediately on the sideline, then strolls across the field as slowly as possible... that right there killed 3 minutes...

if soccer ever wants to not be a joke (and it is), they need to give out instant red cards for that crap!  i assure you it will stop, and we can actually watch a soccer game...

that was simply disgraceful!

It is like Sparky said I don't watch hockey either but watched the olympic games... The Hockey was by far more exciting than this, however I wanted the USA to pull through and make history... oh well... they tried

Out of curiosity... why is that unheard of?  If the guy was on the ground faking an injury for 3 minutes... then the c art had to come out and take him off... (which he was magically fine when they reached the sideline) Why shouldn't that time be played?  When they take 30 seconds to position the ball and switch kickers 3 times on free kicks... should that time not be replayed?  It should be 10 extra minutes if they have to...

No honor in this game.  Sportsmanship was always number 1 priority from any head coach i had when i was younger. (Never played soccer). 

How can you feel good about yourself after pulling that acting job?  Do the teams even shake hands after the match is over?  And what the f**k is the deal with those crazy international fans?  Hooligans, i think they call them.  I call them morons.

My favorite play was when the guy on Ghana grabbed the guy on the USA's shorts and nearly ripped them straight off of him, and no penalty was called until the guy tackled him from behind after that
