I agree with this. The US must come away with 3 points against Ghana. Then hope for a draw against Portugal.

Hopefully, they look better against Turkey on Sunday. Dempsey should be back in the line up.

Also, Mexico plays a friendly against Portugal next Fri. in New England. That game could tell us a lot. If Mexico gets blown out, it would not be a good sign for the US. But if El Tri can hang with them, then just maybe...

Interesting theory on that final game with Germany with Germany resting players and................ummmmmmm.......you have me thinking.

Franz- I think I misunderstood you then lol. I also agree that we shouldn't take a lot from that game either. I thought you were implying they were going to get out of their group or at least come close, I apologize for my misunderstanding... Im glad someone brought up the over with the US. I think after they concede the first goal in a game, more will flow as they try to push which will leave their back line even more exposed. I REALLY like DJ's bet of that group being the highest scoring.
