big problemo loggin in here, pardon for lateness. decided to combine both days so as not to have to go thru this again tomorrow:

Serie A: can be accused of being gun-shy this round after the results a few days ago. when Juve OPENS the wknd slate dropping points, everyones ears should have been pinned back. but as stated last month, its been a strange season already and havent even hit November yet. interesting midweek slate

Brescia/Inter - Brescia on short rest too, but this is a bad spot for Conte (Inter); 3rd match in 6 days and from the looks of his interview they are set to have a bunch of changes to their lineup. in thy wknds thread gave mention of the scheduling and how felt this is not the week to be taking HC spreads and sure as h*ll am not doing it here. but if ur havign thoughts of winning the Scudetto, you cant be dropping pts to newly promoted squads, cant be dropping pts in consecutive matches, and with Juve @home tmrw should be motivation to get all 3 (but then again.... i said that a few days ago too). Brescia my 2nd fav team & hoping to god they can find a way to stay up, so naturally i want to see them get something tonight. this Tonali kid is the real thing and comparisons to Pirlo (should see his goal last wknd), will be our starting midfielder come next WC & will be on some big-boy club with a fat contract next year. Conte & Inters higher ups want him badly. Brescia are an attack minded team at home but Balotelli becoming a distraction. i think they can find the back of net tonight and because of this, I feel the '3' is safe and will take a shot at that instead of a juiced 2.5.

Parma/Verona - not much analysis; BOTH these smaller clubs in that nasty short-turnaround spot. at least Parma @home this time. they are in a bit of an injury crisis. however, this is mostly a play against Verona. i had them pegged in a future to concede the most goals this year which has turned out to be an egg on face. not only have they conceded the fewest, theyve also at the bottom in scoring too. opened the year with a red card in less than 15 mintues and apparently Juric saw something in that bus-park mode and has used it ever since (Verona actually have had a man sent off before the half in 3 matches already) watching them play is an eyesore and you just cant hold out an entire season with a limited bench playing this style. nobody on their frontline has even found the back of the net yet for godsakes. faded them last Friday @home for a nice 200 payout with Sass and going to do the same again here.

Parma to win @+144, Parma-1.5 @+425 (smaller)

Juve/Genoa - kind of got "lazy" last wknd as Genoa won with that 'new coach' angle as Motta got the 'w' as a HC with his first from the sidelines. those spots are auto-plays for me typically. first of all, the "Obvious" as you can see Genoa lead Serie A in goals conceded - by a pretty hefty margin already too when you take into consideration whom they HAVENT played yet. they got 4 pts from us last year; but its funny how people forget, the draw was before our trip to Old Trafford - took Christian all of 15 mintues to score in that one before being subbed out. and that 'w' they got was right after we turned around that 0-2 deficit and eliminated Madrid in KO's, a game where practically everyone was rested. and getting Juve on a short turnaround, in Turin, AFTER we just dropped points is not typically a good thing (aside from those meaningless season-enders when the Scudettos is already clinched, we've scored 2+ in the match after dropping pts in like 90% of our matches through the decade); but I must warn that this season has not been typical, several solid trends around the league have already blown up in my face. but Sarri just went off and told everyone he wants more goals & take more chances. words NONE of us are familiar to hear from a Juventus coach fyi. if we play the way i THINK we might/should, then we can hit this all on our own possibly, especially if Inter comes through tonight. with Higuain getting a knock in practice he will be out, Pjanic too. so Dybala/Bern most likely will be out there and the kitchen sink comes forward full blast. i might bump this up to a mini-hammer once confirm lineups but for now this is a decent play.

***on a side note*** just found out Christian is the landslide pick for striker in our Fantasy league (19 out of the 20 have him). i think part of it is due to the fact nobody wants to fall too far behind the others if he "goes off"; and this is one of those situations, so it became a "default" play. we'll see how it goes. so if he gets held scorelss? fine with me. but every match he started after being rested last season, he scored. and with Sarri giving everyone the 'green light' tomorrow, its fairly obvious hes going to get his chances. so, what the heck, Christian 2+ @+190 is worth a small fun play.

that 10th minute goal pretty much "confirms" things for me...regardless what happens with the rest of match & next few days. im pretty much in a mini-slump with serie A. ya know, didnt risk anything but i had that atalanta match pegged for a draw over the wkndas theyve been god awful vs Udine in recent years (they won 7-1) go figure. got to dial it down with risk till things get straightened out.

for me? i wouldnt need that kind of bullseye on my back with the kind of attention it draws. i get enough of that on its own simply from the picks/writeups... so at the very least kindly ask the person to stop. he has made no such effort and probably knows/encourages the person/people doing it. who knows? who cares?

but honestly, him playing that "naive/innocent person" card has gone on long enough. and the fact that Covers has LET this go on for this long is just as disturbing. makes me wonder about that angle of it as well.

ehh, enough on that. back to futbol and my cr*ppy little run Im currently on.

Sassuolo/Fiorentina - (laughing). Ribery had an epic melt-down last weekend; if havent seen it its worth a few seconds of your life. "lost it" when substitued & then went after a ref when game was done. you know better than to touch a ref Franck..... jesus. talk about a bad hair day or someone whom mustve gotten up on the wrong side of the bed in the AM or whatever. Got slapped with a 3-game suspension so he wont be around. it also kept the prices on the O/U tasty. both sides extremely offensive minded. Sass were 2nd in total goals last year finishing behind Atalanta, and are well on their way to doing that again this year with practically a 4 goal average in 8 matches. Viola after a slow start due to a brutal schedule have found their form & Chiesa can move back to his 'normal' position. this meeting here last year was a wild 3-3 rollercoaster. not expecting the same as its a mid-week with crammed schedules but giving me these prices for 3 goals? ok.. ill bite. Napoli/Atalanta - im leery of this one. as mentioned few days ago, just feel something not right in Napoli lockerroom. that win vs Pool last month seems like years ago already; performance over the wknd was worrisome. and now with a bunch of injuries on that backline the last kind of opponent you want to see is an Atalanta side whom have been steamrolling everyone with their best player (Zapata) out and leading scorer being used as a sub (Muriel). they won here last year on a Monday nighter back in April. actually, as a matter of fact... the ROAD team has won 5 of the past 6 meetings. but i think that changes tonight tho; Im not fond to fade Napoli at home & line has barely moved locally and think theyre going to expose that weak backline of Atalanta whom really havent beaten anybody yet this season.

Cody not quite yet a &#x27;cold streak&#x27; but its just been a major grind. dialed it down on my Juve play because of it and spread it out onto other matches so this could still end up being a head served back on platter evening. . some like making big plays to snap out of struggles. never fond of doing that and ya end up feeling 10x worse if it doesnt come in.   Samp stuff coming up my friend  Cagliari/Bologna - i think visitors good enough to nab a point but mentioned many times my refusal of fading the island-boys at home. one of those "smells like a draw, looks like a draw..." things.   Cagliari/Bologna draw @&#x2B;235(gut play.  no sound reasoning for this)Lazio/Torino - Toro playing like cr*p &amp; have a god-awful record @Olimpico. Lazio coming off a huge &#x27;w&#x27; in Fior last weekend to remain right up there near the european slots. and I have Toro pegged for a future to finish in Top 6 &amp; theyve been annoying as **** this year because they are the type of team whom plays to the level of their opponents - whatever level its at too. lose to Lecce, Sampdoria, &amp; Udinese (all at/near the cellar).  yet beat Atalanta IN Bergamo, Milan, and draw Napoli.  go figure. Toro have the quality to get a result vs any of the top teams so going to take a shot here for no other bloody reason other than because im allowed to.   Torino &#x2B;1/2 @&#x2B;140, and lets toss a little on the outrights @&#x2B;500Sampdoria/Lecce - Lecce one of those classic counter-attacking smaller clubs. played on Sat so they have an xtra days rest &amp; have scored in 7 of their past 8 vs much stronger defenses.  Samp in the cellar but arent relegation material; and have yet to score a single goal before halftime &amp; havent kept anyone out of the back of the net. the fact that they are in the cellar yet juiced up favorite @home is telling. but i am not backing a team in bad form with juice attached. Agree with you my man, its impossible to have 12 straight months of just success, so there will be times when its a grind. I still have faith in ya, as I&#x27;m sure 95% of the forum does. Can&#x27;t see Atalanta beating Napoli with Zapata out. Hopefully 3-1 win for Sampdoria and we both win

i dunno, one of those nights which felt kind of like a cr*ppy evening yet came away barely above break even. Christians PK at the end sort of helped 'save face' so to speak. ur right, 5 reds last night and 4 PK-converts and a bunch of overturns.. VAR was on fire in Serie A (groan). Juve? this past week was tough; this coming week is nasty. a lovely trip to Moscow squeezed between two of our most heated derbies.
